Melendez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A leg kick checked by Taylor.
Taylor tries for a takedown but Melendez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Taylor avoids a punch combination nicely.
Taylor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Melendez as he avoids it easily.
Melendez wobbles Taylor with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Melendez dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Taylor to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Nordin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nordin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Drogo throws a nice looking combination but Nordin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Drogo stalks Nordin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nordin's face. Nordin staggers backwards, shaken.
Nordin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drogo tries to avoid it but Nordin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drogo to the ground. Drogo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Drogo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nordin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nordin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Drogo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nordin somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khalid Nordin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Drogo leaves Nordin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Corey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Creed defending well as Corey loads up on a big left hand.

Corey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Creed with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Creed is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Corey pulls his head out easily.

Corey distracts Creed with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Creed is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Corey has his hands clasped together but Creed extends an breaks Corey's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Creed.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Anderson will probably get the nod.

Mir creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Sin's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Sin drops to his knees and Mir pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
