Kano crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cow - the referee stops the clock and Kano gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cow. Kano manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Cow lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Kano tries to sprawl but Cow drives through with a takedown into half guard. Cow lands strikes from half guard. Cow working Kano over with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cow wants to pass to mount but Kano is defending the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kano can do anything to dispel that myth. Kano blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cow. Ground and pound from Cow.

Cow is looking to take a break and control but Kano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. Kano is rocked! Cow lands a big right hook! Kano looks hurt but is still standing! Cow lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Kano falls down and Cow dives in with a huge hammer fist! Kano's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Cow runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Wrecker comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Chase the Ace. The crowd seem to be enjoying Von Matterhorn's choice of entrance music: Barney Stinson is Awesome. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Von Matterhorn can't keep hold of the triangle and Wrecker manages to pass to side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Von Matterhorn is looking to regain half guard here but Wrecker keeps moving and retains side control. Wrecker decides to stand up, so the ref orders Von Matterhorn to his feet. A jab from Wrecker does it's job there. Von Matterhorn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Faze Wrecker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wrecker lands a really nice looking cross but Von Matterhorn seems unphased.

Wrecker tries to bum rush Von Matterhorn with a series of wild strikes but Von Matterhorn uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Von Matterhorn lands a head shot. Von Matterhorn has his takedown stuffed and Wrecker counters with a leg kick. Von Matterhorn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wrecker connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Von Matterhorn's hands. Wrecker throws a hook but Von Matterhorn avoids it easily. Von Matterhorn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wrecker pinned against the cage. Wrecker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wrecker throws a jab but it's blocked by Von Matterhorn. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Faze Wrecker dominated that round. That's time! Wrecker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Von Matterhorn drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Wrecker goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Wrecker because Von Matterhorn was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Lister with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jaeger to score with a decent uppercut. Jaeger scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Jaeger works Lister's body with a nice hook. Jaeger fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Lister to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Lister looks to clinch but Jaeger throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Lister taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Hughes, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hughes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones tries to clinch but Hughes moves out of range. Hughes scores with a jab. Jones acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Barclay Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ratt Hughes. Jones throws a big shot that misses. Jones wants to clinch up but Hughes keeps it at a distance. Jones scores with a sloppy right hand. Hughes should have avoided that one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hughes stuns Jones with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hughes takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Jones checks the leg kick nicely there.

Vovchanchyn falls to his knees and Creed doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Keletor pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Stark feints and then cracks Keletor's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Keletor down. Keletor throws a hook but Stark blocks it. Stark shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Keletor shoots for a takedown but Stark saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Keletor scores with a shot to the body.

Well Koistinen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machine drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lee.
Lee looks to land a left hand but Machine moved out of range nicely. Woo Jin Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee throws a leg kick that is checked and Machine counters with a nice uppercut. Machine jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lee is looking to land body kicks. Lee with a nice cross. Lee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Machine. Lee throws a head kick but Machine moves out of range.
Lee ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lee tries to work over Machine's front leg with a kick but Machine checks it. This has been an exciting period of action! A good leg kick by Machine. Machine tries to clinch up but Lee circles away and keeps his distance. Machine connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lee's hands. Machine throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lee throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Machine dodges the punch combination from Lee.
Lee throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Machine.

Machine on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Lee throws out a loose jab but Machine uses good head movement to avoid it. Lee scores with a sloppy right hand. Machine should have avoided that one. A looping hook to the body misses from Lee. Machine does a little dance to reset his feet. Lee misses the jab. Lee just misses with a punch to the body.
Machine thows a leg kick but Lee checks it and Lee counters with an outside leg kick.
Lee throws a push kick but Machine slaps the foot to one side. Machine misses with a body shot.
Lee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Machine looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Lee takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Machine lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Machine lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Lee is breathing heavily. A nice inside leg kick there by Lee. That's going to slow Machine down. Machine moves into range and clinches up with Lee.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machine lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lee backwards. Nice body punch from Machine - that landed with a thud.

Machine tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lee's elbow. A short body shot lands from Machine as the two fighters clinch.
A short uppercut from Machine. Machine misses with some punches.
Lee is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Machine. Machine lands a body shot. Machine lands an uppercut.
Lee is rocked! Machine lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lee backwards. Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Machine unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Lee! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Machine is unloading with more strikes now! Lee drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

I think Janis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rubber Johnny. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Janis wants to free his trapped foot but Rustow is holding on for dear life with his legs. Janis controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Janis seems to be working for a kimura but Rustow defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Janis throwing shots but Rustow is blocking nicely. Janis thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Rustow to regain full guard. Rustow is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Janis trying to control but Rustow is working from the bottom. Rustow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Janis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rustow wants to stand but Janis has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rustow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Janis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rustow has managed to get both his arms back between Janis's legs - danger averted. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Janis looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

A decent looking cross lands there for Rustow. Rustow throws the left hand but Janis avoids the punch easily. Janis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Rustow connects with a looping right hand.
Rustow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Janis swats him away and circles back towards the center. Janis motions for Rustow to come forward. Janis throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Rustow misses with an attempted mid kick.

Huston Rustow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rustow tries to clinch there but Janis circles away.

Janis throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rustow. A low kick from Janis misses and Janis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Rustow moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Rustow. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Janis tries to score with a low kick but Rustow moves his leg out of the way. Janis on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Janis gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Huston Rustow seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rustow instigates a clinch. Rustow creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Rustow landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Rustow lands an elbow just above Janis 's eye. Janis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rustow walks away with a smile on his face. Janis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Janis misses with a leg kick and Rustow cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Janis throws a solid leg kick but Rustow takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Janis. Rustow scores with a leg kick.
Rustow is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Rustow comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Rustow is looking to clinch but Janis is avoiding it.

Rustow utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Janis avoids the elbow strike from Rustow, against the cage.
Rustow is pressed up against the cage. Janis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rustow down to the mat. Rustow avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Huston Rustow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Pyyno Janis's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Janis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rustow makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Rustow misses with a body kick. Janis throws a solid leg kick but Rustow takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Janis. Janis throws a leg kick that is checked and Rustow counters with a nice uppercut. Rustow tries to clinch up but Janis circles away and keeps his distance. Janis throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Janis walks into a jab.

This one is all over!
