The bell rings for round one and we are underway! East connects with a solid leg kick. East displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roosevelt throws out the jab. Roosevelt lands with a straight right. East didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Nick East has been cut. Roosevelt cracks East with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Roosevelt missing with a left hand there. East was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A nice leg kick lands there from East. Roosevelt moves out of range of the strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Roosevelt works East's body with a nice hook. A telegraphed right hand from Roosevelt misses the target. East throws a push kick but Roosevelt slaps the foot to one side. East has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from East there as he acknowledges the shot. Roosevelt ducks under a wild hook from East. East looks gassed! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Roosevelt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
East scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Nice straight punches there by East. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of East. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Teddy Roosevelt dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nick East's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
East ducks under a wild hook from Roosevelt. Roosevelt tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Roosevelt is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. East looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. East closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Roosevelt did well to prevent East getting side control. Still in half guard, East seems content to control. Roosevelt is trying to maintain the position but East is very close to passing his half guard. East controlling the action here. East is just content to waste time from the top position. Roosevelt takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Roosevelt keeping full guard, as East tries to pass. Roosevelt controls East momentarily but East frees himself.

Roosevelt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by East. East thuds his shin into the meat of Roosevelt's side. East throws a right and a left that Roosevelt avoids nicely. East is looking to land body kicks. East lands a nice leg kick that just misses Roosevelt's sensitive parts. East uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Roosevelt. East misses the shot to the body. Roosevelt throws out a loose jab but East uses good head movement to avoid it. Roosevelt scores with a shot to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Demirro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shinji circles away. Shinji takes the fight into the clinch. Demirro changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Shinji fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Shinji fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Demirro manages to avoid it. Donte Demirro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Demirro with a poor takedown and Shinji counters with a nice double leg into side control. Demirro won't be happy with that. Saito Shinji has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. A lazy left from Hari finds it's target. Holmes scores with a jab. Hari acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hari misses with a wild combination.

Hari swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Holmes checks a low kick from Hari. Hari misses with a low kick as Holmes jumps back. Holmes defending well as Hari loads up on a big left hand. Hari buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hari moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Hari pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Herman Holmes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hari motions for Holmes to come forward. Hari throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Hari checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Hari throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Holmes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hari. Hari scores with a three punch combo!
Holmes has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hari. Decent striking displayed by Hari there. Holmes tests Hari's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hari throws a front kick that sends Holmes stumbling back into the cage. Holmes moves out of range of the body kick from Hari.
Hari throws a wild body kick that Holmes sees coming a mile off. A head kick misses from Hari. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hari crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Holmes - the referee stops the clock and Hari gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Holmes. Hari manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. A jab from Hari misses. Hari checks a low kick from Holmes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Hari is predictable there and Holmes counters with a nice body shot. Holmes throws out a powerful jab. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Holmes, right into the meat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hari slips a straight right by Holmes. Holmes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Holmes might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Hari has got the better of the exchanges. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hari works the jab nicely. Hari throws a sloppy head kick and Holmes counters with a one-two to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Herman Holmes. Well Hari has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into Killa's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Killa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Killa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Brizuela utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Copout looking to sit in guard and control but Brizuela gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Copout is looking to sweep but instead, Brizuela has passed into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brizuela prevents Copout from improving his position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Cro Copout hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Brizuela ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Copout moves away. A slow jab from Brizuela misses its intended target. A cross from Copout lands. Brizuela fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Brizuela takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Copout lands a lovely overhand right. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Copout bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Brizuela takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Brizuela regains full guard. Nicely done. Copout makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Brizuela managing to control the position. Copout tries to stand but Brizuela is controlling from the bottom. Copout trying to control the position from guard on top but Brizuela is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Copout has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! That was a close second round but I would say that Francis Brizuela will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blyer on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Eduardo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Eduardo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Blyer on the side of the head. Blyer scores with a decent looking hook. A combination from Blyer does no damage. Eduardo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Eduardo cracks Blyer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Eduardo slips a jab and a cross from Blyer.

Kaka stalks Masoe and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Masoe's face. Masoe staggers backwards, shaken. Kaka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That was a close round but I would say that Japa Kaka will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kaka lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Masoe is breathing heavily. Kaka throws a shot from downtown. Masoe moves away and avoids it. Masoe takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kaka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kaka throws a lazy right hand but Masoe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Masoe takes one to the side of the head.
