McDowell manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Markakis on his heels. He'll look to pass Markakis's guard now, I'm sure.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Markakis wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and McDowell is now in half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McDowell is just content to waste time from the top position. Markakis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Markakis pivots and extends the arm, McDowell falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Markakis! Well done that man!

Pepper is pressed up against the cage. Sanchez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pepper down to the mat. Pepper avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Sieve shoots in and drives through. Cruise sprawls well.

Cruise has Sieve pressed against the cage, preventing Sieve from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Cruise lands with a short shot to the head.
Sieve drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cruise gets the underhooks and prevents it.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Sieve is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cruise will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
