16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Jon! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jon.
Kyle Jon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jon slips a straight right by Jones. Jon scores with a jab. Jones acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Jon closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage. Jon misses with a short punch on the inside. Jon throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Jones dodges an elbow strike from Jon.
Jon misses with a knee to the head. Jon has a couple of punches blocked by Jones.
Jones lands a takedown into guard.
Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there. Jon is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jon's guard.

Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jones is looking to take a break and control but Jon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jon is trying to stand up here but Jones is controlling him well. Jon is looking to improve his position.

Donk. Jon catches Jones right on the button with a cross. Jon misses with a straight right. Kyle Jon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones misses with a wild body shot. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jon. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jon.

Jon tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Decent striking displayed by Jones there. Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Jon. That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Jones takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Nice uppercut lands for Jon. That snapped Jones's head back.
Jon throws a big shot that misses. Jones takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones on the wrong end of a nice jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jon misses with an uppercut
and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jones shoots in for a double leg but Jon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones on the wrong end of a nice jab. Jon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Jon connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Jones steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jon. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jon throws a hook but Jones avoids it easily. A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target. Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Jon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Jon stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken. No joy there for Jon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jon doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Jones throws out a powerful jab. A jab from Jon misses. A combination from Jones does no damage. Jones throws a hook but Jon blocks it. Jon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Jones takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Jon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Jon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones. A slow jab from Jon misses its intended target. Kyle Jon seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jon darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Jon throws out a powerful jab. Jon thuds a left hand into Jones's body. Jon looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range. Jon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Jon. Jon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jones. Jon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Jon tries to throw a body punch but Jones avoids it by throwing Jon back against the cage. Jones managing to block the knees to the body from Jon.

Jon is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jones is keeping busy. Jon misses with a hook from the clinch. Jon working aggressively here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A frustrated look appears on Jones's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Kyle Jon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Mesh. Pineda feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mesh's calf. Pineda lands with a cross. Mesh looks to throw the jab but Pineda is out of range. Pineda moves out of range of the body kick from Mesh.
Mesh gets caught napping as Pineda dives in and scores a takedown. Mesh manages to retain guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Pineda drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pineda jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Pineda controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Pineda pushing down on Mesh's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mesh is looking to escape. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pineda controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pineda seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mesh for as long as he can get away with. Pineda looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pineda has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We're going to have a standup here because Sigfredo Pineda wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Pineda scores with a punch to the head. Mesh steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pineda. That one must have hurt. Mesh looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pineda rushes Mesh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Knees to the body from Pineda.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mesh takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Pineda drives through and clinches with Mesh against the cage.

An inside leg kick lands from Pineda. The fighters circle, before Pineda throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Mesh's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Pineda lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Sigfredo Pineda! After the fight, Sigfredo Pineda was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Parts moves into the clinch. Parts's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Parts takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Parker looks for the body kick but Parts saw that one coming. The fighters circling - Parts throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Parts circles away from the clinch attempt.
Parts jabs Parker right on the nose. Parker blinks but takes it well. Both fighters circling a little - Parker finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Parts checks a leg kick. Parker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Parts. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Parker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Parts creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Parker will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sokoudjou tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lluoma manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sokoudjou has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sokoudjou there as he acknowledges the shot. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sokoudjou. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. A lull in the action here as Sokoudjou stalls from top position. Sokoudjou tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Not much technique there but it did the business. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lluoma takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sokoudjou misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sokoudjou misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lluoma.

Simon Lluoma has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sokoudjou lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lluoma has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lluoma and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Lluoma gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Lluoma drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Sokoudjou tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lluoma swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rashad Sokoudjou is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Lluoma takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Good shot there by Sokoudjou. Sokoudjou takes a swing at Lluoma's ribcage but misses. Sokoudjou tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lluoma was well out of range. Poor timing from Sokoudjou.
And that's the end of the fight! Rashad Sokoudjou comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sokoudjou has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Grant lands a jab to Abaddon's midsection. Grant throws a shot from downtown. Abaddon moves away and avoids it. Grant swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Grant feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Abaddon sprawling to the canvas! Abaddon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Grant finish him?!
Abaddon is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Grant batters Abaddon with a massive right followed by a huge left! Abaddon is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Grant lands a final crushing right hand to drop Abaddon to the mat with a gruesome thud! Grant is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Hoberman fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Takada has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Hoberman moves in looking to clinch but Takada pushes him off. Hoberman throws a head kick but Takada moves out of range.

Takada throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Hoberman to regain full guard. Hoberman wants to stand and escape but Takada is having none of it.

Hoberman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Nintendo Takada overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Takada connects with a couple of short punches. Hoberman manages to escape and get back to his feet.

He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dumonte has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dumonte and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Dumonte has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Daniels is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
