Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Scheisse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Raoul Duke!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duke goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Duke misses with a straight right.
A slapping leg kick lands for Scheisse.
Duke lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Duke shoots in and gets a takedown into Scheisse's guard.

Scheisse is rocked!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Duke passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Scheisse parries the strikes from Duke easily there. Duke is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Scheisse to escape.
Duke looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Scheisse is avoiding damage well.
Duke creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Scheisse sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Duke wants to lay and pray for a moment but Scheisse keeps working.
Duke lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Oh Scheisse is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Scheisse is looking for a sweep.
Scheisse seems to have got his legs back now.

Scheisse wants to control but Duke postures up.
Scheisse tries to bench press Duke off him but Duke keeps the position.
Scheisse is not content to let Duke control the position.
Scheisse dodges the ground and pound from Duke.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Duke is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Scheisse knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Duke takes a little break here. Scheisse wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Duke throws a strike but Scheisse rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Duke looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Scheisse wants to pass the guard but Duke is keeping the position.
Duke wants to improve his position but instead Scheisse has moved into half guard.
Duke slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Duke looking to hit a scissor sweep but Scheisse is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Duke controls Scheisse momentarily but Scheisse frees himself.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raoul Duke dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


A thudding body kick lands there by Duke!
Duke throws a shot from downtown. Scheisse moves away and avoids it.
Scheisse showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Duke.

Scheisse forces Duke back against the cage and clinches.
Scheisse using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Duke has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Duke effectively controlling the action here.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Scheisse.
Scheisse missing with knees to the body.
Scheisse misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Duke keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Scheisse's efforts to push away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scheisse just leaning against Duke, taking a breather.

Duke blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Duke doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Scheisse is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Duke is keeping busy.
Duke on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Scheisse misses with a body punch.
Duke cracks Scheisse with a nice body shot.

Duke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Scheisse throws a leg kick
and Duke counters with a thumping low kick.
Scheisse misses with a hook. Duke ducked under it nicely.
Duke lands a leg kick that knocks Scheisse off balance momentarily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Duke looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Duke backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Scheisse's temple! It sends Scheisse violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Duke celebrates and the doctors try to help Scheisse!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Raoul Duke!
