Marius has chosen Enemy by Sevendust as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Spiegel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Spiegel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Hull makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

A telegraphed right hand from Laine misses the target.
Hull lands a head kick!
Hull throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Laine, right into the meat.
Hull lands with a slapping head kick.
Hull throws a wild body kick that Laine sees coming a mile off.
Laine misses with an uppercut
and Hull counters with a nice low kick that buckles Laine's knee momentarily.
Hull dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Laine. That did some damage!
Laine will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hull lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Good leg kick by Hull there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
