The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee moves out of range of the body kick from Brown.
Brown slips a jab from McGee.
McGee dodges the punch combination from Brown.
Brown throws a head kick but McGee moves out of range.
McGee misses with a two punch combination.
McGee throws an off balance right hand
and Brown counters with a left and a right that stings McGee.
Brown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McGee.
Good leg kick by McGee there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Brown tries to score with a low kick but McGee moves his leg out of the way.
Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brown lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McGee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McGee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Brown scores with a crisp jab that stopped McGee in his tracks.

McGee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brown dodges the punch combination from McGee.
McGee scores with the left hand. Brown knows he should have avoided that one.
Brown lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - McGee can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Brown and McGee drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Brown.

Fleischman leaves Eikaas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Eikaas shoots in looking for a takedown. Fleischman tries to sprawl out of it but Eikaas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fleischman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

After the fight, Joaquim Maria was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
