The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badge fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGuire manages to avoid it.
McGuire shoots for a double leg takedown but Badge sprawls well. He's pushed McGuire's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Badge lands a two punch combo.
Badge moves in looking to clinch but McGuire pushes him off.
Badge looks to land a body kick but McGuire moved away.
Badge misses with a hook.
Badge takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

McGuire cracks Badge with an uppercut from hell and Badge crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of McGuire's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Victorio has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Victorio and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
