The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leer misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jackson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jackson. Jackson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jackson stands and throws Leer's legs to the side, diving into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Leer managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Jackson.
Jackson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Jackson lands some shots froms side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bu closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sgt did well to prevent Bu getting side control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Sgt is looking to escape. Bu seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Sgt is trying to get back to full guard. Bu missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bu is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Burov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jefferson moves away. Jefferson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Burov.
Jefferson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Burov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jefferson scrambles back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jefferson misses with a takedown attempt enabling Burov to counter with a crisp jab. Jefferson takes a shot right to the bread basket. Burov misses with a wild combination.
Jefferson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Burov connects with a body shot. Nice uppercut lands for Burov. That snapped Jefferson's head back.
Burov scores with a jab. Jefferson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jefferson is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jefferson switches off momentarily and Burov cracks him with a monster right hand! Jefferson topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Burov dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Burov!
