Stackhouse bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard. Stackhouse lands a couple of digs. Stackhouse pushing down on Gracie's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gracie is in trouble now - Stackhouse has advanced to mount! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie is working to get back to half guard.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Washburn. Washburn wants to take a breather but Doom manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Washburn. Washburn is fighting to break Doom's control of his arms but Doom is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Doom tries to land a sweep but no joy. Washburn trying to control but Doom is working from the bottom. Washburn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Washburn closes the distance and clinches. Doom scores with a shot to the side of Washburn's head. Doom misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Doom lands a shot to the body. Washburn prevents a body shot from Doom. Washburn tries to work over Doom's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Doom wants to break free but Washburn has control.
Doom stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Washburn scores with an uppercut up the middle. Doom misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Washburn has picked Doom up - he's going for a ride! Washburn dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

He's hooked one of Washburn's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Washburn's back! Washburn is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Doom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Even with his hooks in, Doom manages to miss with strikes from the back. Washburn is trying to remain composed but Doom is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Washburn trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Doom just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Zoe Washburn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Doom somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

Hemsky misses with a wild body shot. Jab by Haffa. Hemsky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Haffa moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hemsky fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haffa manages to avoid it. Hemsky throws a solid leg kick but Haffa takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hemsky. Hemsky misses with a straight right. Hemsky ducks under a wild hook from Haffa. Good standup being displayed there by Hemsky as he connects with a hook. Haffa scores with a nice right hand.
Haffa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hemsky was well out of range. Poor timing from Haffa. Haffa fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hemsky swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Haffa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Hemsky takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Haffa slips under a jab from Hemsky. Hemsky uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Haffa. Haffa throws a body punch but Hemsky moves out of range. Haffa waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hemsky.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Haffa connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Hemsky tumbling to the canvas! Haffa pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Hemsky was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Harry Haffa! A very excited looking Harry Haffa rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Washburn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zarathustra's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Washburn's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Washburn forces his way into half guard.

Washburn is in close to Zarathustra's body, working some short punches and elbows. Zarathustra preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Washburn slips nicely into half guard. Washburn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Zarathustra with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Washburn is keen to just control but Zarathustra is a slippery customer.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Washburn tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Washburn takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hoban Washburn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Zarathustra misses with a hook. Washburn ducked under it nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zarathustra throws a half hearted mid kick. A big left from Zarathustra misses. Zarathustra throws a right and a left that both miss.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hoban Washburn. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Washburn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gamma is defended easily by Sol Jr. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gamma shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sol Jr pinned against the cage. Sol Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
YB Sol Jr dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dog Gamma's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gamma lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gamma fails with a takedown attempt. Gamma shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Gamma closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sol Jr circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dog Gamma. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sol Jr throws a low kick but Gamma avoids it. Sol Jr leaves Gamma with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sol Jr lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gamma has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gamma and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Sol Jr throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Sol Jr throws an overhand right that lands on Gamma's shoulder, as Gamma tries to avoid the shot. Sol Jr keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Liddel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sartre stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Sartre might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Liddel has got the better of the exchanges. A shot to the liver by Liddel. Beautiful body shot. Sartre takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Liddel scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Liddel scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Liddel throws a body punch but Sartre moves out of range. Liddel fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Sartre misses with a double jab.
