3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Sterling Dirtnock ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joseph Sekyere! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dirtnock throws a big shot that misses. Sekyere looks to clinch and Dirtnock counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Dirtnock scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dirtnock is taking a breather. Sekyere says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Sekyere tries to roll over but Dirtnock keeps him under control. Sekyere looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dirtnock works his foot free and advances to mount.
Dirtnock stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Dirtnock takes the fight into the clinch. Sekyere tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dirtnock avoids it. Sekyere wants a takedown.

Sekyere postures up in Dirtnock 's guard and throws a big left but Dirtnock blocks it. Dirtnock on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dirtnock tries to get out of the position. Sekyere is looking to stand up but Dirtnock won't let him.

and Dirtnock counters with a shoot takedown. Sekyere fights it but they end up in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Dirtnock is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dirtnock pushes down on Sekyere's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sekyere should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Sekyere looks gassed!

Dirtnock postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Sekyere to stand up. Sekyere gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dirtnock . That kick from Dirtnock tenderised Sekyere's leg. Sekyere is trying to keep his angry face on.
Dirtnock shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Dirtnock is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Dirtnock decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sekyere, up you get!

Dirtnock feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dirtnock decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sekyere, up you get! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dirtnock , as that shot connected.
Dirtnock moves into range and clinches up with Sekyere.
Dirtnock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sekyere tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Dirtnock lands a leg kick that knocks Sekyere off balance momentarily. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Sterling Dirtnock dominated that round. That's time! Dirtnock 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dirtnock is looking to slow Sekyere down with leg kicks. Dirtnock lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Sekyere moves to clinch but Dirtnock breaks away
and Dirtnock counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Dirtnock is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sekyere can do to turn this around? Sekyere wants to clinch but Dirtnock slips to the side and Dirtnock counters with a head kick. A jab from Dirtnock does it's job there. Sekyere is breathing heavily. Sekyere on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dirtnock . Dirtnock obviously looking to wear him down.

Nice straight punches there by Dirtnock . You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dirtnock . Dirtnock throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Dirtnock clobbers Sekyere with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Dirtnock scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dirtnock scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sekyere doesn't seem bothered though.

Dirtnock seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sekyere for as long as he can get away with.
Dirtnock gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Sekyere takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dirtnock lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dirtnock throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sekyere was covering up waiting for the punch and Dirtnock finishes the takedown easily into guard. Dirtnock 's corner is telling him to maintain position. Dirtnock stands and throws Sekyere's legs to the side, diving into side control. Dirtnock has knee on belly and moves into mount. Dirtnock content just to control the position here.

Jiminez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gler. Gler tries to bench press Jiminez off him but Jiminez keeps the position. Jiminez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jiminez tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Jiminez controls the position. Jiminez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gler keeps working. Jiminez works to advance to full mount. Gler defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Jiminez misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jiminez wants to control the pace but Gler is squirming around nicely. Stran Gler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Gler is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jiminez looking to control but Gler is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gler tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gler is working hard here to advance position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Jiminez avoids the attempt from Gler to control. Gler is looking to improve his position but Jiminez isn't that keen on the idea. Jiminez controlling from the full mount. Jiminez avoids the attempt from Gler to control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hummel goes for a takedown attempt but Blade pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rage Blade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurt Hummel. Hummel just misses with a punch to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hummel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blade looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Blade keeps the fight on the outside. Hummel lands the left hand. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close third round but Kurt Hummel just about did enough to take it. The cut man is working on Kurt Hummel's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

 Blade is rocked! Blade is looking to clinch but Hummel is avoiding it.
Oh Blade is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Blade rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hummel moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters circling - Blade throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Blade moves out of range of the strikes.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Blade takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Hummel throws an overhand right that drops Blade like a sack of potatoes! Hummel dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
