Blista tries to grapple but his opponent circles enabling Tsushima to counter with a crisp jab. Blista tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tsushima manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tsushima goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Blista wants to clinch but Tsushima slips to the side letting Tsushima counter with a right hand. A bone on bone clash there as Tsushima blocks the leg kick.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Harvath scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Crizanto misses the shot to the body. Crizanto moves out of range of the leg kick from Harvath. Dominic Crizanto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Harvath goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Harvath throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Crizanto makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Harvath scores with a jab to the body. Crizanto moves out of range as Harvath strikes. Harvath misses with a leg kick enabling Crizanto to counter with a crisp jab. Harvath circles away from the clinch attempt letting Harvath counter with a right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harvath keeps the fight on the outside. Crizanto closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Harvath fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Crizanto has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Harvath lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Harvath throws a right and a left that both miss. This has been an exciting period of action! Crizanto moves out of range of the leg kick from Harvath. Crizanto scores with a crisp jab that stopped Harvath in his tracks. Harvath is looking to score with low kicks. Crizanto takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Crizanto clinches. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crizanto scores with a hook to the body. Crizanto lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Crizanto struggles to land a body shot inside as Harvath controls his hands.

Dirk Harvath decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion.
