Manoel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Manoel shows good takedown defense.
Smith shoots in but Manoel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Manoel.
No joy there for Manoel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Manoel counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Moukuttaja lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Kaely Cullen has been cut.
Cullen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Moukuttaja moves out of range of the body kick from Cullen.
Cullen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Cullen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Moukuttaja.

It looks like Maukka Moukuttaja has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cullen throws a low kick but Moukuttaja moves out of range easily.
Moukuttaja scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cullen in his tracks.
Moukuttaja lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Kaely Cullen's cut is getting worse.
Moukuttaja fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cullen manages to avoid it.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Moukuttaja checks a leg kick.
Moukuttaja avoids the head kick by Cullen.
Moukuttaja connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cullen's hands.

Kaely Cullen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Moukuttaja misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cullen.
Moukuttaja clobbers Cullen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Jeez, Kaely Cullen's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Moukuttaja tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cullen was well out of range. Poor timing from Moukuttaja.
Moukuttaja checks the leg kick.

Moukuttaja feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cullen sprawling to the canvas! Cullen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Moukuttaja finish him?!

Cullen is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kaely Cullen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Maukka Moukuttaja!
Maukka Moukuttaja bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
