The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for Cifer Jr. That snapped Kuula's head back.
It looks like Heikki Kuula has been cut. Kuula moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cifer Jr jabs at Kuula's body. Kuula stuffs the takedown. Kuula stuffs a takedown. Tauno connects with an inside leg kick. Tauno moves out of range as Landersson strikes. Landersson throws a jab when Tauno was well out of range. Tauno keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Landersson. Excellent takedown into side control there by Tauno. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Landersson is looking for a sweep. Landersson can't do much from the bottom here. Landersson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Landersson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tauno is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Landersson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tauno preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Tauno escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Landersson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tauno seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A head kick misses from Siloposki. A low kick from Siloposki misses and Uros counters with a right hand to the body. Siloposki gets in close and instigates a clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Siloposki. Uros tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Uros gets through Siloposki's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Siloposki lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Uros connects with a nasty looking knee right to Siloposki's face.

A head kick from Siloposki lands but Uros takes it in his stride. Uros throws a head kick but Siloposki moves out of range.

They are putting on a show! Uros gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Uros ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Uros scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Uros throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Siloposki. Uros shoots in and drives through. Siloposki sprawls well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Siloposki looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Siloposki on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Siloposki rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maddy Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Michaels might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Popeda - Raakaa voimaa. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cartman works his way back into a safe position though. Hughes wants to improve his position but instead Cartman has moved into half guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hughes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cartman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hughes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cartman off and has taken his back! Well, with Hughes on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Cartman is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Cartman is really stuck here.

Cartman is having to fend off submission attempts from Hughes, who is looking to sink in the choke. Hughes doesn't have the hooks in though and Cartman manages to reverse position! Hughes bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cartman's head backwards. Hughes stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cartman. Hughes fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hughes cracks Cartman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. No joy there for Cartman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hughes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Hughes misses with a leg kick and Cartman counters with a thumping low kick. Hughes looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Eric Cartman is winning the standup battle so far. Hughes looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Hughes throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hughes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cartman counters with a straight right hand. Hughes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Cartman throws a solid leg kick but Hughes takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cartman. Hughes's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cartman under the eye. Cartman fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hughes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Cartman misses the shot to the body. Cartman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hughes. Hughes throws a push kick but Cartman slaps the foot to one side. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cartman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hughes, as that shot connected.

Maunonen sprawls well initially but McTrigger persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Maunonen looking for submissions from an awkward position here. McTrigger uses his free foot to push down on Maunonen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Maunonen. The referee warns Maunonen that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gomi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gomi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reinikainen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Reinikainen slips under a jab. Kaalikorva throws a series of punches but Reinikainen moves out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Kaalikorva. Reinikainen does a little dance to reset his feet. Kaalikorva ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kaalikorva shoots in looking for a takedown. Reinikainen tries to sprawl out of it but Kaalikorva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reinikainen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
