The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Chan.
Karate lands with a shot to the body. Karate blocks a head kick by Chan.
Chan pivots, looking for a leg kick but Karate is out of range and Chan settles back down. Karate ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Karate lands a glancing blow to the side of Chan's head.
It looks like Wacky Chan has been cut. Wacky Chan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Karate jabs at Chan's body. Chan looks to land a body kick but Karate moved away. Karate misses the jab. Chan throws a half hearted mid kick. Chan drops his hands momentarily and Karate takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Chan misses with a body kick. Chan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Chan misses the shot to the body. Karate lands a right hook to the body.
Chan looks gassed! Karate bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chan's head backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karate digs a good body shot into Chan's ribs. Chan throws a leg kick but Karate moved away. Karate misses with a body shot.
Karate moves into range and connects with a jab. Karate blocks a head kick by Chan.
Karate avoids a low kick by using good footwork. A jab from Karate does it's job there.
Chan is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Karate ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Chan out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joey Karate! A very excited looking Joey Karate made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smeinen attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Smeinen is breathing heavily. Smeinen ducks under a wild hook from Deng. Deng scores with a jab to the jaw. Smeinen misses with a body shot.
Deng shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smeinen as he jumps to the side. Smeinen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Deng. Deng moves out of range as Smeinen throws a body kick.
Deng misses with a straight left. A good leg kick by Smeinen. Deng moves out of range of the body kick. Deng lands a nice looking body shot.
Smeinen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Hokey Smeinen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deng throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Horrible takedown by Deng or perhaps it was just good defense by Smeinen which made him look bad. A big left from Deng misses. Deng lands a nice looking body shot.
Smeinen tries to land a front kick but Deng steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Smeinen doesn't manage to clinch there - Deng circles away.
Deng cracks Smeinen with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A punch lands to the side of Smeinen 's head but he takes it in his stride. Smeinen tries to sprawl but Deng drives through with a takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Deng lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Deng thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Smeinen's head. Deng trying to control the pace. Deng is keen to just control but Smeinen is a slippery customer. Deng not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Deng seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Smeinen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. This has been an exciting period of action! Deng not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Deng thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Deng working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Deng is thwarting Smeinen's attempts to control the position. Deng looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Smeinen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Deng sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Smeinen defending well though. Ground and pound from Deng. Deng missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Smeinen blocking the ground and pound attempt from Deng.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Deng is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Deng has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Deng seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Deng throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Deng is looking to take a break and control but Smeinen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Smeinen is looking to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smeinen blocking the ground and pound attempt from Deng. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Deng throws an elbow but Smeinen slips to the side and avoids it well. Smeinen is trying to buck Deng off. Deng working the body and head with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Deng trying to control the position but Smeinen is working away. Deng throws a strike aimed at the side of Smeinen's head but Smeinen avoids it well. Deng cracks Smeinen with a big right hand but Smeinen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Smeinen eats them both and turns towards Deng to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Smeinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Deng moves away. Deng checks a leg kick. Deng bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smeinen's head backwards. Deng misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Deng thuds his right hand into Smeinen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Smeinen moves out of range as Deng strikes. Smeinen tries to clinch up. Smeinen moves in looking to clinch but Deng pushes him off. No luck with that takedown attempt from Deng. Deng throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Smeinen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Deng closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Smeinen did well to prevent Deng getting side control. Deng not doing much here.
Deng is trying to control the action in half guard but Smeinen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Deng controlling the pace. Hokey Smeinen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Omen Deng has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A jab from Deng does it's job there. Donk. Deng catches Smeinen right on the button with a cross. Smeinen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Smeinen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Deng shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Deng showed some decent athleticism there. Deng is figuring out what he wants to do next.
And that's the end of the fight! Omen Deng comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Deng has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tripp follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Tripp moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Erikson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Erikson clinches up against the cage. Erikson pulls Tripp into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Erikson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tripp's guard. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Norris. Behnder fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Norris manages to avoid it. Norris connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Behnder's hands. Norris misses with a head kick.

Marcus Behnder's cut is getting worse. A good leg kick by Norris. Behnder falls off balance throwing a combination
and Norris makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Behnder blocks the body kick.
Behnder misses with a looping right. Bill Norris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A good leg kick by Norris. Norris cracks Behnder with an open hand slap. Norris is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Behnder had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nice jab there from Norris. Norris lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Behnder shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Norris is trying to defend but Behnder finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Norris is looking to escape. Behnder seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Norris is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crawford throws a right and a left that Frost avoids nicely. Crawford is breathing heavily. Crawford checks a low kick from Frost. Frost gets in close and instigates a clinch. Crawford can't find room to land a body shot as Frost controls the action.
Crawford's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A solid leg kick lands there for Frost.
Frost throws a solid leg kick but Crawford takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Frost. Frost connects with a solid leg kick. Crawford on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Frost throws a leg kick that misses. Frost walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Crawford checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. A jab from Crawford misses. Crawford gets tackled into the cage by Frost. Frost maintains the clinch. Frost misses with an elbow strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crawford on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Frost gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Frost pushing down on Crawford's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Frost throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Crawford is squirming around, avoiding Frost's attempts to control the action. Crawford blocking the ground and pound. Frost throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Crawford has his hands clasped together but Frost breaks the hold and Crawford is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Frost!

Poulsen throws a jab when Sheet was well out of range. Magnus Poulsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poulsen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Sheet avoids the body shot from Poulsen.

Poor timing from Sheet. Poulsen fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Sheet connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Poulsen's hands. Sheet uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Poulsen. Poulsen misses with a body shot.

Sheet feints and then cracks Poulsen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Poulsen down. Sheet throws a low kick, looking for Poulsen's leg but Poulsen calmly moves out of range. Poulsen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Magnus Poulsen has been cut. A bone on bone clash there as Poulsen blocks the leg kick.

Sheet tries to bum rush Poulsen with a series of wild strikes but Poulsen uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Uriel Sheet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Poulsen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Sheet lands a nice shot to the body.

This has been an exciting period of action! Poulsen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sheet connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Poulsen scrambles back to his feet. Sheet lands with a shot to the body. Poulsen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Sheet attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Poulsen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Sheet lands with a shot to the body. Poulsen throws a hook but Sheet avoids it easily. An inside leg kick from Sheet misses. The crowd cheers as Sheet lands an impressive looking overhand right. Poulsen doesn't seem phased though. Poulsen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sheet comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Oh Poulsen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sheet smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Sheet fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Poulsen seems to have got his legs back now. Sheet feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Poulsen sprawling to the canvas! Poulsen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sheet finish him?!
Poulsen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Sheet fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sheet misses with a wild body shot. Sheet cracks Poulsen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Poulsen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sheet finish him?

Sheet measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Poulsen! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knight lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Finkelstein looks gassed! Knight smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Freddie Finkelstein has been cut. Knight works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Finkelstein wants to stay close but Knight steps back to make room for something. Finkelstein seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Knight and Finkelstein drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Jameson Iii throws a leg kick that is checked and Rei counters with a thumping low kick. Jameson Iii gets tackled into the cage by Rei. Rei maintains the clinch. Jameson Iii lands a nice shot to the body. Rei blocks a body shot from Jameson Iii. Jameson Iii gets through Rei's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A right hook to the body lands for Jameson Iii.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Voitto Putkimies! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Putkimies tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bingham was well out of range. Poor timing from Putkimies. Bingham on the wrong end of a nice hook. Putkimies smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Bingham wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Putkimies throws a hook but Bingham avoids it easily. Nice sprawl there from Putkimies as Bingham shoots in. Putkimies avoids the body shot from Bingham.
Putkimies lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bingham backs up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bingham shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bingham was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Bingham raining down hammerfists from mount. Bingham with a couple of short strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bingham pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
It looks like Voitto Putkimies has been cut. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bingham cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bingham postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Putkimies looks a forlorn figure.
Putkimies tries to hold on but Bingham postures up. Bingham landing strikes from the mount. Bingham has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bingham connects with a bit shot that sees Putkimies covering up! More strikes from Bingham and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bingham is our winner by TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marley throws a push kick but McDonald slaps the foot to one side. A jab from McDonald does it's job there. McDonald thows a body shot but no joy. McDonald takes a swing at Marley's ribcage but misses. Marley walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. McDonald checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. McDonald drops Marley with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Marley looks back up at him and smiles so McDonald waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A head kick misses from McDonald. McDonald lands a leg kick that knocks Marley off balance momentarily. Marley looks gassed! That kick from Marley tenderised McDonald's leg. McDonald is trying to keep his angry face on. McDonald closes the distance and clinches. Marley tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McDonald's elbow. McDonald lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. McDonald drops Marley onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Marley is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Marley is rocked! McDonald works on Marley's body with a couple of short punches. Marley is still on wobbly legs! Can McDonald finish him? McDonald lands with a short punch from the clinch.
McDonald scores with a shot to the side of Marley's head. A left hand lands to the body for McDonald.
McDonald drops Marley onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Marley is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
That's one minute gone in the round. McDonald just leaning against Marley, taking a breather. McDonald lands a big right hand that drops Marley! The killer instinct kicks in and McDonald finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by McDonald!
