The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuure misses with a body kick. Amato throws a nice head kick!
Amato tries for a takedown but Kuure sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kuure throws a low kick but Amato avoids it. Kuure rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Amato counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kuure displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Amato throws out the jab. A jab from Kuure does it's job there. Kuure lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Kuure leaves Amato with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kuure takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Kuure takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Amato stalks Kuure and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kuure's face. Kuure staggers backwards, shaken. Kuure tries a head kick but it misses.

Kuure tries to bum rush Amato with a series of wild strikes but Amato uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nice uppercut lands for Kuure. That snapped Amato's head back.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kuure tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kuure misses with a body shot. That was a close round but I would say that Domenic Amato will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kuure's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Amato pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Amato on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kuure throws a low kick, looking for Amato's leg but Amato calmly moves out of range. Amato throws a wild body kick that Kuure sees coming a mile off. Amato uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kuure. Amato lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Overeem crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Columbar - the referee stops the clock and Overeem gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Columbar. Overeem manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Overeem checks a leg kick. Jab, jab by Columbar - just one landing. Columbar does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Columbar throws a leg kick and Overeem counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Columbar throws a leg kick and Overeem counters with a slapping leg kick. Columbar misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nice sprawl there from Overeem as Columbar shoots in. Overeem throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Columbar. Overeem comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Overeem connects with a high kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Overeem moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Overeem scores with a crisp jab that stopped Columbar in his tracks.

Oh Sabre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dignam lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sabre circles away quickly and effectively. Sabre seems to have got his legs back now. Sabre shoots and misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. A chopping leg kick lands by Dignam. Dignam cracks Sabre with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sabre looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dignam finish him?
Matt Sabre's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Dignam looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A head kick misses from Dignam. A low kick from Sabre is predictable there and Dignam counters with a crisp right that sends Sabre to the canvas! Dignam follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
