The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swearengen misses with a looping left. Antenni looks gassed! Swearengen throws a leg kick but Antenni sees it coming and moves out of range. Swearengen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Antenni uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Swearengen. Swearengen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Antenni manages to avoid it. Antenni takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Ari Antenni has been cut. Swearengen looks to land a right hand but Antenni moved out of range. Swearengen just misses with a punch to the body.
Antenni fails with an attempt to clinch.
Antenni takes a swing at Swearengen's ribcage but misses. Antenni throws a lazy right hand but Swearengen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Antenni steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Swearengen. Swearengen throws a right hand that Antenni ducks under and follows up with a left that Antenni also avoids with ease. Antenni fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Swearengen manages to avoid it. Swearengen circles away from the clinch attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Utter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Utter scores with punches from side control. Mannersormi defending against the ground and pound. Mannersormi tries to improve position but can't. Mannersormi gets back to half guard. Mannersormi is trying to control but can't.
Mannersormi is concentrating on defense, preventing Utter from advancing position. Mannersormi is refusing to be controlled, as Utter sits in half guard. Mannersormi tries to roll over but Utter keeps him under control. Utter looks to land a strike but Mannersormi avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Utter postures up in Mannersormi's guard and throws a big left but Mannersormi blocks it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mannersormi can do anything to dispel that myth. Utter throws a big elbow that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Utter trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Utter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mannersormi works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Utter stopping the sweep attempt from Mannersormi. Utter trying to control the position from guard on top but Mannersormi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mannersormi wants to sweep but no luck. Utter postures up and lands a big shot to Mannersormi's brow. Mannersormi preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Utter is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Utter throwing strikes from guard but Mannersormi blocks nicely. Mannersormi tries to land a sweep but no joy. Utter throws a big elbow that misses. Mannersormi is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Utter trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Utter's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Utter throws a big elbow that misses. Utter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Utter postures up in Mannersormi's guard and throws a big left but Mannersormi blocks it. This has been an exciting period of action! Mannersormi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Utter's guard. Utter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Utter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Mannersormi throws a big elbow that misses. Mannersormi throws a big right hand that misses. Mannersormi trying to control but Utter is working from the bottom. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mannersormi engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Utter is trying to control the position but Mannersormi postures up.

Dravinski tries to avoid it but Hyppynaru manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dravinski to the ground. Dravinski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice body punch from Dravinski. Hyppynaru looks gassed! Hyppynaru changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dravinski lands a jab to Hyppynaru's midsection. Dravinski digs a good body shot into Hyppynaru's ribs. Dravinski wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Hyppynaru looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
That has opened up John Hyppynaru's cut even more. Dravinski drops Hyppynaru with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hyppynaru looks back up at him and smiles so Dravinski waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Hyppynaru is rocked!
The cut above John Hyppynaru's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Hyppynaru shoots and misses and Dravinski counters with a big left hand that crumples Hyppynaru! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

Pynchon cracks Sydaenahomaanhaerpaeke with a right hand to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pynchon dances in with a quick combination. Sydaenahomaanhaerpaeke is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Pynchon snaps Sydaenahomaanhaerpaeke's head back. Sydaenahomaanhaerpaeke stumbles backwards against the cage. Pynchon steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Sydaenahomaanhaerpaeke's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Sydaenahomaanhaerpaeke just didn't come prepared.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McHale fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Simans sprawls well initially but McHale persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Simans looks gassed! McHale looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Simans really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McHale. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McHale connects with a nice short shot to Simans's temple.
Simans is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McHale is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Simans is hurt! He's hurt bad - McHale fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Simans from any more punishment! Congratulations to McHale! Great finish!
