The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Broker pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Steele back to the cage. Broker follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Steele shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Broker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Steele won't allow Broker to sweep him here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Broker can do anything to dispel that myth. Broker is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steele content to stall in guard here. Broker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Steele is one step ahead there. Steele passes Broker's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Tim Steele will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Horrible takedown by Steele or perhaps it was just good defense by Broker which made him look bad. Broker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Steele looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A left and a right from Broker both land. Nice combination. Broker misses with a hook. Broker on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Terry Broker seems to be getting the better of the standup. Steele slips a straight right by Broker. Broker blocks a jab. Broker checks a leg kick nicely. Steele swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The ref is looking closely - Broker is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Broker is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haze shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fuentes but Fuentes pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fuentes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Haze 's head. Fuentes turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Haze crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fuentes - the referee stops the clock and Haze gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fuentes. Haze manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Haze takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Fuentes tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Haze is able to avoid easily. Haze tries for a takedown but Fuentes circles away easily and Fuentes counters with a nice leg kick. A leg kick checked by Haze . Haze uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fuentes.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Haze might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Fuentes has got the better of the exchanges. Haze ducks right into an uppercut from Fuentes. Haze takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pedro Fuentes is winning the standup battle so far. Fuentes fakes the leg kick and cracks Haze in the body. Haze tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fuentes swivels and escapes. Fuentes is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Fuentes is looking to slow Haze down with leg kicks.

That has opened up Dutch Haze 's cut even more. Fuentes cracks the inside of Haze 's front leg. Haze walks into a stiff left hand from Fuentes. Haze looks for a takedown but Fuentes sprawls well. Fuentes lands with a good body shot. Fuentes lands a leg kick that knocks Haze off balance momentarily. Fuentes lands with a thumping leg kick.

enabling Kazunari to counter with a crisp jab. Tunjic takes a swing at Kazunari's ribcage but misses. Tunjic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tunjic missing with a left hand there. Kazunari was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Tunjic lands the left hand. Kazunari tries to sprawl but Tunjic drives through with a takedown into half guard. Kazunari is trying to maintain the position but Tunjic is very close to passing his half guard. Tunjic is looking to advance position but Kazunari won't allow it. Tunjic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Tunjic thows a huge punch but Kazunari dodges it nicely.

Bannon throws a series of punches but Cregov avoids them all with ease. Cregov scores with a jab to the body. Bannon is breathing heavily. Bannon on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cregov. Cregov obviously looking to wear him down.
Bannon has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Cregov. Bannon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A slapping body kick lands there for Cregov. Bannon steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Cregov. That one must have hurt.

That last one sent Bannon tumbling to the canvas! Cregov pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Bannon was done - good stoppage!
