The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Struthers dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Paulson. That did some damage! Paulson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Struthers bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Struthers staying out of range there. Paulson throws a leg kick but Struthers sees it coming and checks it nicely. Pembelton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Pembelton is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Pembelton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bede with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Pembelton throwing shots but Bede is blocking nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
