The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Trout. Serrano moves to clinch but Trout breaks away and Trout cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Serrano throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trout's waist but Trout gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Serrano off to one side. Trout scores with a hook. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Serrano. Serrano throws a left and a right that both miss
and Trout counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Serrano fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Serrano. That's going to take a lot out of him. Serrano moves in looking to clinch but Trout pushes him off. Trout lands with a cross. Serrano gets tackled into the cage by Trout. Trout maintains the clinch. It looks like Brian Serrano has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trout cracks Serrano with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Serrano tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Trout pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Serrano is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Hull! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hull fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hull fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hull tries to clinch but McDougle moves out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Hull. McDougle does a little dance to reset his feet. McDougle thumps Hull with a low kick. Hull manages to get an easy takedown there - catching McDougle on his heels. He'll look to pass McDougle's guard now, I'm sure. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. McDougle can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hull controls the pace. Hull trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McDougle controlling Hull's posture. Hull trying to control the position from guard on top but McDougle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Matt Hull was stalling too much, according to the referee. Hull throws the left hand but McDougle avoids the punch easily. McDougle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hull fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Arnie McDougle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Hull. Hull tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McDougle misses with an uppercut. Hull saw that one coming. McDougle swings for the body but Hull moves out of range.

and Hull cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hull tries to clinch but McDougle moves away and McDougle counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Hull looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Nice jab there from McDougle. McDougle feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hull sprawling to the canvas! Hull rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McDougle finish him?!
McDougle darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Hull's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles McDougle before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arnie McDougle! During a confident post fight interview, Arnie McDougle thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

Mars kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Avenged Sevenfold's Nightmare. Provenzano has chosen America F*%K yeah! as his entrance music. Frankie Provenzano told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Provenzano wants to clinch. Mars thows a body shot but no joy. Mars throws a nice looking combination but Provenzano bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Some wild striking there from Mars.
Mars ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Provenzano waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mars. Provenzano tries to score with a low kick but Mars moves his leg out of the way. Provenzano just misses with a punch to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Mars stuffs the takedown. Provenzano shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mars but Mars pushes him off and we're back to square one. Provenzano looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mars is fending him off so far but Provenzano persists. Nope, Mars circles away and we're back to standing. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Provenzano throws a big elbow that misses. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Provenzano accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Provenzano won't allow Mars to sweep him here. Provenzano chips away with some ground and pound. Provenzano with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lawrence Mars will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mars sizes up Provenzano with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Provenzano swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Mars scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Provenzano is refusing to be controlled, as Mars sits in half guard. Mars is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Provenzano sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Provenzano wants to get back to full guard. Provenzano has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mars is trying to control. Provenzano wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Provenzano makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Provenzano. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lawrence Mars overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Provenzano takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. No damage this time. Provenzano has his foot on Mars's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mars works his way back into a safe position though. Mars with a flurry of punches that miss. Mars trying to control the position from guard on top but Provenzano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Provenzano wants to sweep here but Mars controlling him for the moment. Mars throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mars scoring with some ground and pound. Provenzano escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mars gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mars chips away with some ground and pound.

Mars postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Mars with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Provenzano is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Good work there from Provenzano! Provenzano is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mars is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. You can see the frustration on Mars's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Provenzano looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Provenzano not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lawrence Mars is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Provenzano thows a huge punch but Mars dodges it nicely.
Provenzano not landing any meaningful shots this time. Frankie Provenzano has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Provenzano throwing shots but Mars is blocking nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mars is defending against the submission attempts here by Provenzano.

And that's the end of the fight! Lawrence Mars showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mars, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Chulainn is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Suraski does a little dance to reset his feet. Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Suraski on that attempt. Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Suraski to the mat! Suraski manages to get full guard. Suraski is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Schkayle drops Colbert with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Colbert looks back up at him and smiles so Schkayle waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Colbert might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Schkayle has got the better of the exchanges. Colbert chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Schkayle can pounce on him.
Schkayle walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Colbert drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Schkayle swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Colbert's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
