The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroud connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Stroud misses with an attempted mid kick.
Corleone throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stroud shoots in for a double leg but Corleone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Stroud throws a predictable looking body shot
and Corleone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Corleone misses with a double jab.
Stroud thuds his shin into the meat of Corleone's side.
Corleone misses with a low kick.
Stroud misses with a two punch combination.
Stroud walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Corleone checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Corleone on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Stroud jabs Corleone right on the nose. Corleone blinks but takes it well.
Stroud throws a leg kick that is checked
and Corleone counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stroud's knee momentarily.
Stroud tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stroud shoots in looking for a takedown but Corleone manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stroud's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sonny Corleone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cam Stroud.

Stroud has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Corleone.

Corleone slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
