These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Reed's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Both fighters circling a little - Reed finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Nice uppercut lands for Assante. That snapped Reed's head back.
Reed throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reed dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Assante. That did some damage!

Reed is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Assante flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Assante is out cold! Reed holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
