The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kane. Kane throws out a powerful jab. Forrest Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sloppy strikes from Griffin. Those never looked like landing. Griffin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kane displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Griffin throws out the jab. Griffin darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Griffin throws a leg kick but Kane sees it coming and checks it nicely. Griffin feints a jab promting Kane to slip. Griffin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Kane in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Reimer regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Zenin. Zenin is looking to work some ground and pound but Reimer has wrist control. Reimer tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zenin postures up and lands a big shot to Reimer's brow. Zenin throws a strike but Reimer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Reimer pushes down on Zenin's leg and manages to get into half guard.

He's managed it. Nice work. Reimer passes to side control. Zenin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Zenin gets back to half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brizuela fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cuk gets tackled into the cage by Brizuela. Brizuela maintains the clinch. A short body shot lands from Brizuela as the two fighters clinch.
Brizuela lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cuk backwards. Brizuela gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Semin Cuk has been cut. Cuk lands a shoulder strike. Brizuela misses with a short punch on the inside. Cuk prevents a body shot from Brizuela. Brizuela throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ramirez sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A solid leg kick lands there for Ramirez.
