Alb is trying to escape the position but Masterson is controlling the position. Masterson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Aldo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Murdock can pounce on him.
Murdock tries to bum rush Aldo with a series of wild strikes but Aldo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Aldo will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. A slapping body kick lands there for Murdock. Murdock uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aldo. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aldo misses with an uppercut. Murdock goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Murdock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aldo moves away.
And that's the end of the fight! Matthew Murdock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Murdock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duggan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hamalainen manages to avoid it. Duggan jabs Hamalainen to the body, keeping him at a distance. Hamalainen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Duggan.
Hamalainen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Hamalainen looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
It looks like Jim Duggan has been cut. Duggan actively working from the bottom here. Duggan wants to get back to full guard. Duggan won't allow Hamalainen to pass to mount. Duggan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hamalainen pulls his head out easily. Hamalainen prevents Duggan from improving his position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! Kane Yamada spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
