Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Smokey Robinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mineirinho Uai So! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uai So shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Uai So is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. It looks like Uai So might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Uai So is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Uai So decides to stand up. Robinson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uai So throws a sloppy head kick and Robinson moves out of range easily. Robinson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Robinson dives in and grabs Uai So's left leg, looking for a takedown. Uai So pushes down on Robinson's head and hops out. A momentary lapse in concentration from Robinson enables Uai So to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Robinson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Robinson looking for a sweep. Not yet Robinson, not yet. Uai So trying to control the position from guard on top but Robinson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mineirinho Uai So was stalling too much, according to the referee. Uai So is looking to clinch. Robinson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Uai So pinned against the cage. Uai So gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Smokey Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Uai So throws a right hand that Robinson ducks under and follows up with a left that Robinson also avoids with ease. Uai So darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Uai So uses his free foot to push down on Robinson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Robinson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robinson is desperately trying to improve his position but Uai So has a good base and remains in mount. Uai So working the ground and pound effectively.
Uai So trying to control but Robinson is having none of it. Robinson tries to lock up and control but Uai So gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Uai So lands a big elbow. Uai So trying to control but Robinson is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robinson throwing hammer fists to the chest of Uai So. What's that going to do exactly? Uai So scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Robinson?
Robinson wants to control but Uai So is having none of it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Uai So is landing with some decent strikes but Robinson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Robinson is squirming around, avoiding Uai So's attempts to control the action. Uai So sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mineirinho Uai So dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Uai So darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Uai So trying to control from half guard but Robinson is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Uai So is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mineirinho Uai So hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Robinson looks to clinch and Uai So counters with a lovely shot to the body. Robinson avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Robinson tries to clinch up. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Uai So. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Robinson avoids the head kick by Uai So.
Uai So closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Uai So stands up and we're back to a striking position. Uai So is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Uai So fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Robinson sprawls well initially but Uai So persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Uai So wants to take a breather but Robinson is having none of it. Uai So wants to pass the guard but Robinson is defending well. Robinson trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robinson has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Uai So escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Uai So! Uai So is looking to take a break and control but Robinson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Uai So working away. Robinson throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uai So just content to control the position. Uai So decides to take the fight back to the feet. Robinson shoots in but Uai So avoids the takedown attempt easily. Uai So shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Robinson eats them both and turns towards Uai So to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Uai So tries to clinch up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Uai So blocks a head kick by Robinson.

Mineirinho Uai So showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Uai So manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Robinson on his heels. He'll look to pass Robinson's guard now, I'm sure. Uai So is looking to work some ground and pound but Robinson has wrist control. Uai So stays in close to Robinson's body and controls the position. Uai So wants to control from the top but Robinson keeps moving. Uai So not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mineirinho Uai So. Uai So looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Uai So working Robinson over with strikes. Robinson is refusing to be controlled, as Uai So sits in half guard. Uai So takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Robinson tries to kick Uai So off but Uai So keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Uai So passes to full mount! Uai So wants to control the pace but Robinson is squirming around nicely. Robinson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Uai So on the ground. Robinson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Uai So lands a big elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uai So lands a nice shot to the head. Uai So content just to control the position here. Uai So tries to control but Robinson wriggling away. Uai So landing shots from mount. Uai So takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Uai So tries to control but Robinson wriggling away.

And that's the end of the fight! Mineirinho Uai So comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Uai So has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kabuto Wakizashi! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wakizashi thumps De Young with a low kick. Wakizashi fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Wakizashi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. De Young throws a big shot that misses. Good standup being displayed there by De Young as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Kabuto Wakizashi has been cut. The fighters circle momentarily. Wakizashi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wakizashi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. De Young works over Wakizashi's head and body with a nice combination. The fight stays on the outside here - Wakizashi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Raphael De Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Young lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

De Young misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

An inside leg kick lands from Wakizashi. Wakizashi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Wakizashi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wakizashi scores with a body shot.

De Young throws a lazy right hand but Wakizashi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Wakizashi works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. De Young misses with a right hand and De Young takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. De Young throws out a token jab with nothing on it. De Young just misses with a punch to the body.
A combination from De Young does no damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! De Young on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
De Young is breathing heavily. Wakizashi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to De Young's calf. Wakizashi lands a head shot. Wakizashi delivers a nice body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kabuto Wakizashi will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kabuto Wakizashi's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

De Young moves out of range of the body kick. De Young tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Wakizashi is able to avoid easily. Wakizashi thuds his right hand into De Young's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. De Young misses the shot to the body. De Young just misses with a punch to the body.

Wakizashi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. De Young manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. De Young misses with a series of wild punches.
Wakizashi throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Wakizashi connects with a body shot that sends De Young's belly button to the back. De Young scores with a jab to the jaw. De Young lands a jab to the head.

Wakizashi misses with a straight right. Wakizashi gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A head punch on the inside from Wakizashi fails to land. Wakizashi softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Wakizashi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wakizashi throws a shot from downtown. De Young moves away and avoids it. De Young scores with a sloppy right hand. Wakizashi should have avoided that one. Wakizashi instigates a clinch. Wakizashi lands a shoulder strike. De Young is trying to break the clinch but Wakizashi is controlling him. A short body shot lands from De Young as the two fighters clinch.

De Young is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. De Young has Wakizashi pressed against the cage, preventing Wakizashi from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

De Young is looking to slow Wakizashi down with leg kicks. Wakizashi defending well as De Young loads up on a big left hand. De Young throws a looping overhand right but Wakizashi ducks down to avoid it. Wakizashi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from De Young. Jab, jab by De Young - just one landing. De Young lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by De Young. De Young misses with an uppercut. Wakizashi saw that one coming. Both fighters are breathing heavily. De Young looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wakizashi forces De Young back against the cage and clinches. De Young will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Both guys are working to get underhooks. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wakizashi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with De Young's elbow. Wakizashi misses with the head strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Young tries to throw a body punch but Wakizashi avoids it by throwing De Young back against the cage. Wakizashi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Good exchange - Wakizashi coming out on top. De Young looks to land a right hand but Wakizashi moved out of range. De Young misses with a body shot.
Wakizashi throws a nice outside leg kick. Wakizashi lands with a nice body kick. De Young moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Wakizashi thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on De Young if he has to take too many more of those.
Wakizashi gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Wakizashi lands a right hand. Wakizashi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Kabuto Wakizashi seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Wakizashi has De Young pressed against the cage.
Wakizashi presses De Young against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Come on Wakizashi - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wakizashi lands with a left to the head.
De Young is rocked! De Young throws a punch but it's blocked by Wakizashi. Oh De Young is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The referee is keeping an eye on Wakizashi - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Wakizashi. Wakizashi gets through De Young's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. De Young tries to work over Wakizashi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Wakizashi is pushing De Young up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. The crowd are getting on Wakizashi's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Wakizashi continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Wakizashi lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. De Young misses with a hook from the clinch. De Young tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Wakizashi lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt De Young or not. Wakizashi throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Wakizashi stalling.
Wakizashi creates a bit of space for himself and rocks De Young with a big uppercut! De Young tries to clinch up but Wakizashi pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples De Young to the mat! De Young covers up and Wakizashi unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larkin looks to clinch and Johnson counters with a takedown into side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. A lull in the action here as Johnson stalls from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Larkin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Johnson off and has taken his back! Johnson is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Johnson controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Well, with Larkin on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Johnson is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Larkin on the ground. Johnson is having to fend off submission attempts from Larkin, who is looking to sink in the choke. Larkin doesn't have the hooks in though and Johnson manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Johnson works over Larkin with some ground and pound from guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Johnson lands a couple of decent looking shots. Larkin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Larkin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily. Larkin working from the bottom, still in full guard. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bukake lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jogan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jogan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Roe Jogan. Well Jogan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. It looks like Jamie Foy has been cut. Foy ducks right into an uppercut from Redhair. Redhair connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jamie Foy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Foy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Redhair circles away. Foy on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Redhair. Redhair obviously looking to wear him down.

Jamie Foy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Redhair feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Foy's calf. Redhair uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Foy has time to react. Foy takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left lands for Hardcastle. Hardcastle showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Murphy.
Murphy loads up on a big right hand but Hardcastle slips the punch. Murphy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hardcastle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Murphy scrambles back to his feet. Murphy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hardcastle makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Murphy throws a nice looking combination but Hardcastle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Murphy lands a really nice looking cross but Hardcastle seems unphased.
Hardcastle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Murphy as he jumps to the side. Murphy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hardcastle.

enabling Hardcastle to counter with a crisp jab. Murphy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hardcastle moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Murphy misses with a series of wild punches.
Hardcastle shoots in looking for a takedown but Murphy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hardcastle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hardcastle avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Hardcastle counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Murphy throws a right hand that Hardcastle ducks under and follows up with a left that Hardcastle also avoids with ease. Sloppy strikes from Murphy. Those never looked like landing. Murphy lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
No joy there for Murphy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hardcastle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Murphy keeping moving, preventing Hardcastle from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hardcastle passes Murphy's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hardcastle wants to free his trapped foot but Murphy is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hardcastle wants to take a breather but Murphy is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hardcastle is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hardcastle is looking to advance position but Murphy won't allow it. That was a close round but I would say that Erick Murphy will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stroya keeps the fight on the outside. Lily closes the distance looking to clinch and Stroya counters with a crisp one two that drops Lily! Stroya thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lily to his feet! Lily is in big trouble! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lily closes the distance but Stroya moves to the side and Stroya counters with a straight right hand. Stroya throws the left hand but Lily avoids the punch easily. Lily takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lily throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lily tries to clinch but Stroya moves out of range. Stroya throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lily stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Lily throws a body punch but Stroya moves out of range. Lily takes a shot right to the bread basket. Lily tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stroya drops Lily with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lily looks back up at him and smiles so Stroya waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Tiger Lily has been cut. Tiger Lily seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stroya throws a big shot that misses. Lily is still on wobbly legs! Can Stroya finish him? Stroya misses with a hook. Stroya misses with a straight right. Stroya takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Lily uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stroya. Stroya misses with a looping right. Lily tries to clinch but fails miserably and Stroya counters with a lovely shot to the body. Lily seems to have recovered his senses. A left lands for Stroya.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lily displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stroya throws out the jab. The fight stays on the outside here - Lily looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stroya keeps the fight on the outside. Lily tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stroya is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Lily flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Lily is out cold! Stroya holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Drogo throws a hook but Johnson blocks it. Johnson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Drogo circles away. Johnson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Nicholas Johnson has been cut. No luck with that takedown attempt from Johnson. Conan Drogo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now.
