Connell throws a hook to the side of Walter's head but Walter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Connell misses with an uppercut. Walter saw that one coming.
Walter slips a jab and a cross from Connell.

Walter gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Connell is trying to break free.
Connell is trying to force a seperation but Walter has the dominant position.
Connell is looking to break free of the clinch but Walter has double underhooks.
Connell is trying to break the clinch but Walter has him pressed against the cage.

Walter manages to break the clinch.
Connell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Walter.
Connell lands a nice shot to the body.

Walter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Connell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Connell lands a big uppercut and Walter crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Walter looks OK. Connell waves Walter back to his feet!
Connell darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Walter's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Connell before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Backman cracks Nagendra with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Backman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Nagendra to stand back up!
Backman cracks Nagendra with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nagendra tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Backman pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nagendra is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ben Backman was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Williams lands a big head kick that sends Victorio tumbling to the mat! Williams takes a step backwards and waves Victorio back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Victorio walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

The cut above Jonny Victorio's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Williams lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Victorio moves forwards but Williams connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Williams counters with a thumping low kick.

Williams drops Victorio with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Victorio looks back up at him and smiles so Williams waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Victorio chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Williams can pounce on him.
Victorio bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Williams comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Victorio falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Victorio was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kane Williams!
