Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brock Shamrock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rocko Dentalplan! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dentalplan throws a nice looking combination but Shamrock bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Shamrock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dentalplan was well out of range. Poor timing from Shamrock. Dentalplan wants to clinch. Shamrock is looking to land body kicks. Dentalplan throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Dentalplan tries a head kick but it misses.
Shamrock just misses with a punch to the body.
Shamrock fails in his attempt to clinch. Shamrock tries to bum rush Dentalplan with a series of wild strikes but Dentalplan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Shamrock fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dentalplan avoids it really well and circles away. Dentalplan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Shamrock looks to score with a jab to the body but Dentalplan is just out of range. A head kick from Dentalplan lands but Shamrock takes it in his stride.
It looks like Brock Shamrock has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dentalplan misses with a double jab.
Dentalplan leaves Shamrock with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Dentalplan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shamrock circles away quickly and effectively. Rocko Dentalplan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dentalplan throws a head kick that Shamrock semi-blocks.

It looks like Rocko Dentalplan has been cut. Shamrock closes the distance and clinches up with Dentalplan, looking for a takedown. Shamrock pushes Dentalplan against the cage but Dentalplan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Shamrock. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shamrock lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Shamrock takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dentalplan.
Shamrock closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dentalplan to the mat! Dentalplan manages to get full guard. Shamrock is breathing heavily. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Shamrock postures up in Dentalplan's guard and throws a big left but Dentalplan blocks it. Shamrock prevents Dentalplan from getting back to his feet. Shamrock drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dentalplan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dentalplan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dentalplan! Shamrock regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dentalplan sitting and controlling from the half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Shamrock pushes Dentalplan off looking to stand but Dentalplan dives back in and keeps control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamrock is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dentalplan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dentalplan's back! Shamrock tightening his grip on Dentalplan, looking for the choke. Dentalplan trying to survive by controlling the hands. Shamrock tries to get the hooks in deep but Dentalplan pushed the leg off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shamrock avoiding Dentalplan 's attempts to control his hands. Shamrock is trying to control but Dentalplan is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Dentalplan is wriggling around trying to escape.
Dentalplan is trying to stand up. Dentalplan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Shamrock is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dentalplan is surviving well by controlling Shamrock's body position as best he can. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Shamrock is standing up, even though he is in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rocko Dentalplan will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dentalplan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shamrock closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dentalplan's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dentalplan wriggles free and stands up. Dentalplan rushes Shamrock and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Shamrock drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dentalplan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Dentalplan is trying to force a seperation but Shamrock has the dominant position. Dentalplan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Shamrock is looking for a takedown. Dentalplan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shamrock swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shamrock dodges the punch combination from Dentalplan.
Shamrock swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dentalplan throws a half hearted mid kick. Shamrock will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rocko Dentalplan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Shamrock is looking to clinch. Shamrock misses with a low kick. Shamrock has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Shamrock. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dentalplan throws a head kick but Shamrock moves out of range.
Shamrock looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dentalplan is fending him off so far but Shamrock persists. Nope, Dentalplan circles away and we're back to standing. Dentalplan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shamrock. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dentalplan fails with an attempt to clinch.
A punch combination from Shamrock misses. Dentalplan pushes Shamrock up against the cage in a clinch. Shamrock is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Dentalplan is defending well for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Dentalplan's face as he tries to break the clinch. Dentalplan is trying to push Shamrock away but Shamrock has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Dentalplan manages to break the clinch.

Brock Shamrock is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Shamrock takes a swing at Dentalplan's ribcage but misses. Shamrock tries to clinch there but Dentalplan circles away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shamrock avoids the head kick by Dentalplan.
Shamrock throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shamrock is looking to wear down Dentalplan with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Shamrock takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dentalplan lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dentalplan moves into range and clinches up with Shamrock. Dentalplan is trying to push Shamrock away but Shamrock has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Shamrock tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dentalplan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Shamrock has him pressed against the cage. Dentalplan lands a body shot. Dentalplan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dentalplan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shamrock.
Dentalplan lands a jab to Shamrock's midsection. Dentalplan throws a head kick but Shamrock moves out of range.
Shamrock walks into a straight right hand from Dentalplan. Dentalplan misses with a few strikes there.
Good leg kick by Dentalplan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dentalplan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Shamrock is rocked! Dentalplan circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Shamrock drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Dentalplan follows Shamrock to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Kozak tests Kalio's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kalio uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kozak. Kozak lands a nice hook to Kalio's body. Kalio trying to control the position from guard on top but Kozak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kalio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kozak swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kozak trying to keep a closed guard but Kalio is proving a slippery customer.

Kozak is looking to take a break and control but Kalio is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kalio gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Kozak controlling the position easily from mount. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Kalio is squirming around, avoiding Kozak's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kozak is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kalio is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Kalio slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Kalio is concentrating on defense, preventing Kozak from advancing position. Kalio is in trouble now - Kozak has advanced to mount! Kozak moves to the back position. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kozak avoiding Kalio 's attempts to control his hands. Kozak is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Kozak circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Kalio to the canvas! Kalio doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Kozak keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Pound crunches a lovely knee into Foo's ribcage. Foo looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pound will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Foo up against the cage. Pound digs a right hand underneath Foo's ribcage. Foo let out a lung full of air as it connected.

It looks like Incubus Foo has been cut. Pound working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A right handed body shot lands from Pound.

Foo is rocked! Pound unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Foo! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Pound is unloading with more strikes now! Foo drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryan Lee! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Baloney! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baloney scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lee doesn't seem bothered though. Baloney rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lee misses with a right hand and Baloney counters with a stiff right hand. Baloney ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lee moves away. A low kick from Lee misses and Baloney counters with a right hand to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Baloney is able to avoid easily. Lee misses with a hook. Baloney ducked under it nicely. Nice defenses there by Lee. Lee throws a lazy uppercut
and Baloney counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Baloney pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Baloney scores with a sloppy right hand. Lee should have avoided that one. Lee slips a straight right by Baloney. Lee punishes Baloney's body with a nice straight punch. The fighters circle momentarily. Baloney darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Baloney throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Baloney scores with a jab to the head.
Baloney drops Lee with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lee looks back up at him and smiles so Baloney waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Lee is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A swing and a miss from Baloney. Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Baloney's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lee under the eye. Baloney drops Lee with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Lee! Baloney dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Baloney! Tony Baloney is the new middleweight champion! A very excited looking Tony Baloney rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
