0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fartpants McSpongeBob! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McSpongeBob fails with a takedown attempt. McSpongeBob wants to clinch up but Black keeps it at a distance. McSpongeBob moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. McSpongeBob shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense. Black swats away the attempt to clinch by McSpongeBob. Black works the jab nicely. Black throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends McSpongeBob stumbling backwards into the cage! McSpongeBob bounces back off the cage towards Black, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Black lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Black celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vik Black! Vik Black spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winner fails with an attempt to clinch.
Baker checks a leg kick. Baker closes the distance and clinches. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Baker. Winner's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Baker is looking to break free of the clinch but Winner has double underhooks. Baker leaning against his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker swings wildly with an uppercut but Winner uses good head movement to avoid it. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Baker wants the takedown. Winner is fighting it off but Baker persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Winner's guard against the cage. Winner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Winner wants to get back to his feet but Baker is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fukuta fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mac avoids it really well and circles away. Fukuta looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mac moves in looking to clinch but Fukuta pushes him off. Fukuta throws a sloppy head kick and Mac moves out of range easily. Fukuta connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Fukuta is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mac sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sai Fukuta. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fukuta takes one to the side of the head.

Fukuta shoots in looking for a takedown but Mac manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fukuta's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Fukuta shoots for a takedown but Mac saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fukuta keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Mcallen is rocked! Do throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mcallen works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Do postures up in Mcallen's guard and throws a big left but Mcallen blocks it.

Do throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Do loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Do throwing strikes but missing. Do pushing down on Mcallen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mcallen wants to improve his position but Do is controlling well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from Uai So both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Sergei Smashsky has been cut. Smashsky gets caught flat footed, as Uai So shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Smashsky looking for a sweep. Not yet Smashsky, not yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smashsky is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Smashsky can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Uai So controls the pace. Uai So wants to control from the top but Smashsky keeps moving. Smashsky preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Smashsky has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Uai So should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Smashsky has tightened it up now! Uai So should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mayhem keeps the fight on the outside. Cartwright clinches. Mayhem avoids a wild elbow strike from Cartwright. Mayhem looking for a takedown. Cartwright missing with knees to the body.

Mayhem has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cartwright is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Camber Cartwright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Mayhem. Mayhem managing to block the knees to the body from Cartwright.
Mayhem drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cartwright gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Cartwright kicks Mayhem off and gets back to his feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mayhem looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Mayhem stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cartwright swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cartwright wants to get back to his feet but Mayhem is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Cartwright can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mayhem controls the pace. Mayhem slips nicely into half guard. Cartwright wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cartwright tries to roll over but Mayhem keeps him under control. Cartwright is breathing heavily. Cartwright looks like he's trying to stand up.
Mayhem is keen to just control but Cartwright is a slippery customer. Mayhem seems to be looking for submissions.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mayhem gets the takedown into side control. Mayhem is working to tighten is grip on Cartwright's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Cartwright has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mayhem is really squeezing tight and eventually Cartwright passes out! Mayhem breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gu drops Konrad with a beautiful combination! Konrad stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gu is looking for the KO!
It looks like Cole Konrad has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Konrad paws at him with a jab and circles away. Konrad misses with a left hand and Gu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Konrad is rocked! Gu lands with a cross. Konrad is still on wobbly legs! Can Gu finish him? Gu throws an overhand right that has Konrad reeling! Gu follows up with more punches and Konrad is out cold! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orlov works the jab nicely. Shinichi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Orlov lands with a shot to the body. Orlov is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real. Orlov throws a head kick but Shinichi moves out of range.

Orlov throws a front kick that sends Shinichi stumbling back into the cage. Orlov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shinichi manages to avoid it. Shinichi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Shinichi there as he acknowledges the shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Orlov stuns Shinichi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick from Orlov lands but Shinichi takes it in his stride. Orlov is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Orlov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shinichi. A good leg kick by Orlov. Orlov moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Orlov connects with a body shot. Nice straight punches there by Orlov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Orlov. Orlov throws a nice head kick!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shinichi takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Orlov fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Orlov goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Orlov jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Orlov cracks Shinichi with an open hand slap. Alexander Orlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shinichi shoots for a takedown but Orlov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Shinichi misses with a takedown and Orlov counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shinichi takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Alexander Orlov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice shot lands for Orlov. Shinichi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Orlov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Shinichi takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Orlov connects with a body shot that sends Shinichi's belly button to the back. Shinichi falls off balance throwing a combination
and Orlov counters with a big head kick but Shinichi shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Orlov lands a big head kick that sends Shinichi tumbling to the mat! Orlov takes a step backwards and waves Shinichi back to his feet - he wants the finish! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Orlov jabs at Shinichi's body. Orlov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Shinichi had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Orlov circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Shinichi drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Orlov follows Shinichi to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Orlov! Alexander Orlov retains his lightweight title! A relieved looking Alexander Orlov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drogo throws a leg kick but Johnson checks it. Drogo cracks Johnson with an open hand slap. Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Drogo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Drogo swings widly with a right hand
and Johnson counters with a nice uppercut. Johnson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Drogo's guard. Drogo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Drogo has control of Johnson's left arm, preventing Johnson from doing any damage. Johnson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Drogo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Drogo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Johnson. Johnson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Drogo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Drogo has escaped and now he's on top! Johnson wants to sweep but no luck.

Conan Drogo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Drogo misses with a body shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Johnson checks a leg kick. Johnson tries for a takedown but Drogo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Drogo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Drogo with a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Drogo defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicholas Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Drogo thuds his shin into the meat of Johnson's side. Drogo works the jab nicely. Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Drogo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Drogo digs a good hook to Johnson's body.

Conan Drogo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Drogo cracks the inside of Johnson's front leg. Drogo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Johnson. That did some damage! Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Johnson dodges the punch combination from Drogo.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Drogo lands with a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Conan Drogo dominated that round. That's time! Johnson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
and Drogo counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Johnson! He's just covering up as Drogo starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
