The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freedom lands a nice shot to the body.
Freedom throws a low kick but Chuin moves out of range easily.
Chuin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chuin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Chuin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Chuin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Freedom to the mat! Freedom manages to get full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chip Freedom.

Quik drops Kronburger with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kronburger looks back up at him and smiles so Quik waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Jamal Quik spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
