I think Tolbowl might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Do Da Stanky Leg. Sailor has chosen Blackalicious - It's Going Down as his entrance music. Wendell Sailor will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Merrick Kane told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kane circles away quickly and effectively.
Boo throws a series of punches but Kane avoids them all with ease.
Boo misses with a two punch combination.
Boo throws a poor cross that misses
and Kane counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Boo scores with a nice right hand.
Kane thumps Boo with a low kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boo jabs Kane to the body, keeping him at a distance.

After the fight, Merrick Kane was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Don Marciano!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marciano lands a left and a right that send Powers crashing to the mat, dazed. Marciano thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Austin Powers has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Powers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Powers looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Powers misses with a looping right.
Powers cracks Marciano with an open hand slap.
Marciano looks to throw the jab but Powers is out of range.
Marciano fails to land with a series of punches.
Powers takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Nice uppercut there from Powers.
A swing and a miss from Powers.
Don Marciano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Powers tries a low kick but Marciano avoids it.
Marciano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Powers moves away.
Powers is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Marciano throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Powers has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Marciano.
Marciano waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Powers.
Marciano slips a straight right by Powers.
Marciano throws a nice looking combination but Powers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Powers is looking to score with low kicks.
Powers takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A chopping leg kick lands by Marciano.
Powers finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Powers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marciano was well out of range. Poor timing from Powers.
Marciano avoids the head kick by Powers.
Powers throws a leg kick but Marciano checks it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marciano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Powers. That did some damage!
Some wild striking there from Powers.
Marciano is looking to land body kicks.

Marciano throws a body kick that misses.
Powers connects with a crisp jab.
Powers takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Powers is breathing heavily.

Marciano scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Powers doesn't seem bothered though.

Powers chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Marciano can pounce on him.

Powers on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A slapping leg kick lands for Marciano.
Powers has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Marciano finds it's way round the side to connect with Powers's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A punch lands to the side of Powers 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Marciano lands with a shot to the body.
Marciano fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Marciano changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Marciano looks to score with a jab to the body but Powers is just out of range.
Powers takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Marciano cracks the inside of Powers's front leg.

Marciano drops Powers with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Powers looks back up at him and smiles so Marciano waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Powers is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Powers bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Marciano comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Powers falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Powers was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Don Marciano!
As Don Marciano got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Dr. Evil paid a real bad ass mother fucker to kick your shaggy ass.'.
