The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Money moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Slyvia is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Money clinches. Money pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Money misses with a series of wild punches.
Money clinches. Money's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nice jab there from Slyvia. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A telegraphed right hand from Money misses the target. Slyvia throws a series of punches but Money avoids them all with ease. Money looks to land a combination but Slyvia avoids it well. Slyvia moves in looking to clinch but Money pushes him off. Slyvia wants to clinch up but Money keeps it at a distance. Money throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Slyvia darts in trying to clinch and Money counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Slyvia is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Money pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Money throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Money really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slyvia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Money decides to stand and escape the position. Slyvia tries to close the distance and clinch but Money swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Slyvia tries to clinch there but Money circles away.

Slyvia tries to clinch up but Money circles away and keeps his distance. Money thumps Slyvia with a low kick. Slyvia moves to clinch but Money breaks away and Money counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Slyvia is breathing heavily. Money trying to mount his opponent but Slyvia defends it. Money not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Money decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Money has Slyvia up against the cage in a clinch.

Slyvia keeping full guard, as Money tries to pass. Money is pushing down on Slyvia's leg trying to pass to half guard. Slyvia is fighting to maintain full guard but Money has managed to sneak the leg through.

Money wants to free his trapped foot but Slyvia is holding on for dear life with his legs. Money decides to return to a standing position. Money closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Money escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Slyvia tries to sprawl but Money drives through with a takedown into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Money takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Money passes to full mount! Money breaks from Slyvia's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Money is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Slyvia has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Slyvia is trying to escape the mount but Money keeps good control and instead manages to take Slyvia's back.
Money tightening his grip on Slyvia, looking for the choke. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Money is persistently looking for the submission but Slyvia is defending it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Money is trying to stick to Slyvia's back but Slyvia is turning into Money. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Money's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Slyvia. Money pulls Slyvia in close to prevent any damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slyvia wants to control from the top but Money keeps moving. Slyvia with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slyvia preventing the sweep. Money has control of Slyvia's left arm, preventing Slyvia from doing any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Money rushes Slyvia and presses him up against the cage. Money lands a hook to the side of the head. Slyvia swings wildly with an uppercut but Money uses good head movement to avoid it. Money breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Money looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Money throws a right and a left that both miss. Money throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Money is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Slyvia's half guard. Money thows a huge punch but Slyvia dodges it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slyvia regains full guard. Nicely done. Slyvia isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Money stacks Slyvia on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Money! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Money in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Money working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Slyvia wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Slyvia gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Travis Money has got the better of the ground game so far. The referee warns Slyvia that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Slyvia can't escape the position.
Money avoids the attempt from Slyvia to control. Tim Slyvia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Travis Money is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Money scores with a couple of good head shots there.
And that's the end of the fight! Travis Money comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Money has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Gonawyn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. An inside leg kick lands from Velasquez . Velasquez with a poor takedown and Gonawyn counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Velasquez looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Gonawyn is working for a kimura but Velasquez is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters circle momentarily. Sparrow darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Koshiba tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sparrow throws a hook but Koshiba avoids it easily. Koshiba throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A punch combination from Sparrow misses. Koshiba is looking to land body kicks. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Money darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Money is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Money wants to work for an arm triangle but Bravo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Bravo works his way to full guard. Good work. Bravo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Money has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bravo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Money doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bravo is tightening it up a little... Money has to be careful here... The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Talltree wants to land a leg kick but Flintstone is out of range. Talltree fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Flintstone manages to avoid it. Talltree misses with a body shot.

enabling Flintstone to counter with a crisp jab. Flintstone looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A decent looking cross lands there for Flintstone. Flintstone blocks a head kick by Talltree.
Flintstone scores with the left hand. Talltree knows he should have avoided that one. Talltree tries a head kick but it misses.
Talltree throws a predictable looking body shot
and Flintstone counters with a leg kick. Talltree throws an overhand right that lands on Flintstone's shoulder, as Flintstone tries to avoid the shot. Talltree takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Talltree has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Flintstone. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Flintstone closes the distance and pushes Talltree back into the cage. Talltree throws a punch but it's blocked by Flintstone. Talltree swings wildly with an uppercut but Flintstone uses good head movement to avoid it.

Flintstone's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Talltree throws a head punch that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Talltree throws a punch but it's blocked by Flintstone. Talltree jumps guard but Flintstone stands there with Talltree around his waist. Talltree gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Talltree is trying to pull guard but Flintstone has him pressed against the cage. Flintstone is looking to control Talltree's arms but Talltree gets an underhook and turns him. Now Flintstone has his back to the cage. Talltree manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Flintstone was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Talltree is looking to improve his position but Flintstone isn't that keen on the idea. Flintstone lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Talltree hang on? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Flintstone working Talltree over with strikes here. Flintstone lands a big elbow - Talltree is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Talltree is forced to tap out!

McHale misses with a straight right. McHale uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Faustos.
Faustos buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Faustos. That's going to slow McHale down. Faustos tries to close the distance and clinch up but McHale swats him away and circles back towards the center. McHale misses with a lunging right hand
and Faustos counters with a nice body shot. Faustos throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Beaumont McHale has been cut. Faustos goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. This has been an exciting period of action! McHale dives in and grabs Faustos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Faustos pushes down on McHale's head and hops out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faustos stuns McHale with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. McHale walks into a left hand. Left hook, right uppercut from Faustos. Faustos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That has opened up Beaumont McHale's cut even more. Faustos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McHale walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. McHale throws a right and a left that Faustos avoids nicely. A head kick misses from Faustos. Faustos tries to close the distance and clinch up but McHale swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McHale gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Faustos. Faustos with a jab. Faustos is looking to wear down McHale with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. McHale misses with a series of wild punches.
