The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Luca tries a head kick but it misses.
De Luca thuds a left hand into Hak's body. De Luca has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hak. Hak lands a jab to De Luca's midsection. Hak uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from De Luca. Hak tries a head kick but it misses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hak comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Hak is really struggling to find his range with his punches. De Luca's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hak. De Luca shrugs it off though. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! De Luca drives through with a takedown into Hak's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. De Luca throws a punch but it's blocked by Hak. Hak misses with a knee to the head. De Luca shoots for a double leg takedown but Hak sprawls well. He's pushed De Luca's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hak's corner calls for a 1-2. Hak obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Armando De Luca has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hak throws a low kick, looking for De Luca's leg but De Luca calmly moves out of range. Hak tries to clinch but De Luca is having none of it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hak lands with a thumping leg kick.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. De Luca takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Hak pulls out of a head kick attempt.

And that's the end of the fight! To Hak showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hak, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

That was a close second round but I would say that Quick Twist will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okuyama lands a nice hook to Uai So's body. Uai So takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The fight stays on the outside here - Uai So looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Uai So tries for a takedown but Okuyama sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Okuyama scores with a decent looking hook.
It looks like Mineirinho Uai So has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Okuyama fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Uai So to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Uai So looks to clinch but Okuyama throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Uai So taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Yoshinobu Okuyama! Yoshinobu Okuyama gave a mention to Ganja's Warehouse in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stroya swings for the body but Kyoraku moves out of range.

Stroya throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Stroya looks to land a left hand but Kyoraku moved out of range nicely. Stroya ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kyoraku moves away. Kyoraku throws out a loose jab but Stroya uses good head movement to avoid it. Kyoraku connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Stroya's hands. Kyoraku connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Stroya gets cracked there but stands up to it.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donald Hughes! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia clobbers Hughes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Hughes throws a lazy right hand but Garcia sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hughes has managed to clinch.
Hughes lands a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Hughes has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Garcia is proving hard to escape from. Garcia is adopting a defensive guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garcia has a closed guard, preventing Hughes from standing up. Garcia working a defensive guard here.
Hughes drops back looking for a leg! Garcia is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Garcia manages to kick Hughes off! Hughes jumps back into Garcia's guard.

Hughes gets a takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Garcia desperately trying to maintain half guard. Garcia tries to get to full guard but Hughes has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hughes is keen to just control but Garcia is a slippery customer. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hughes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Garcia defends it well. Garcia looking for submissions off his back. Hughes tries to pass to full mount but Garcia defends it. Garcia is not content to let Hughes control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hughes passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Garcia! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hughes tries to control but Garcia wriggling away. Hughes tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Garcia is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hughes with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Donald Hughes dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hughes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Garcia as he jumps to the side. Adriano Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Garcia misses with a wild body shot. Hughes wants to land a leg kick but Garcia is out of range. Hughes tries to clinch up but Garcia circles away and keeps his distance. Garcia moves out of range of the body kick from Hughes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A punch combination from Garcia misses. Hughes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Garcia paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Hughes avoids a punch combination nicely.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Garcia throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hughes on the side of the head. Garcia looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Garcia misses with a hook. Hughes ducked under it nicely. Hughes throws a half hearted mid kick. Hughes tries to clinch and Garcia counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Garcia here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. No luck for Hughes with that takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hughes dodges the punch combination from Garcia.

and Hughes counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hughes. Garcia wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Hughes is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Adriano Garcia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donald Hughes. Hughes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Garcia wants to break the clinch but can't.
Garcia has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hughes clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Garcia somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Garcia looking to break Hughes's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Hughes remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Garcia will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Garcia scores with punches and elbows. Garcia is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Hughes up.

and Garcia counters with a nice uppercut. Hughes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Garcia paws at him with a jab and circles away. Garcia swats away the attempt to clinch by Hughes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Garcia fails to land with a series of punches.
