7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankie Figgs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 39 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Rutecki! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Figgs looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A big right from Rutecki misses. Rutecki keeps the fight on the outside. Figgs closes the distance and clinches up with Rutecki, looking for a takedown. Figgs pushes Rutecki against the cage but Rutecki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Figgs wants to clinch up but Rutecki keeps it at a distance. Rutecki throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Figgs. Figgs throws a series of punches but Rutecki avoids them all with ease. Rutecki throws a low kick, looking for Figgs's leg but Figgs calmly moves out of range. Figgs lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Frankie Figgs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rutecki lands a two punch combo.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Figgs lands a slapping body shot.

Figgs looks to land a combination but Rutecki avoids it well. Figgs lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dexter Rutecki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rutecki gets caught flat footed, as Figgs shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rutecki is striking but Figgs is not phased and passes to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Figgs is trying to control. Rutecki wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rutecki is looking for a sweep. Figgs is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Figgs passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Figgs takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rutecki can't escape the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rutecki regains half guard. Figgs passes to side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Figgs feints and as Rutecki raises his hands in defense, Figgs changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Figgs slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Figgs decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rutecki, up you get!

Figgs bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rutecki's head backwards. Figgs shoots in looking for a takedown. Rutecki tries to sprawl out of it but Figgs keeps driving through. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Figgs throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

Rutecki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The fighters circle momentarily. Figgs darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Rutecki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Figgs scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Figgs doesn't manage to clinch there - Rutecki circles away.

Figgs takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rutecki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Figgs paws at him with a jab and circles away. Figgs gets a clinch. Rutecki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Figgs throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rutecki. Figgs shoots in but no luck this time. Figgs lands a two punch combo.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rutecki lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Figgs has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Figgs and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Dexter Rutecki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A bit of stalling here from Figgs.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Obama misses with a takedown letting Flintstone counter with a right hand. Obama rushes Flintstone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Flintstone lands with a short head shot on the inside. A body shot lands from Flintstone.
Obama is trying to drag Flintstone to the mat but Flintstone just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Obama gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Obama throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Obama has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Obama trying to control but Flintstone is working from the bottom. Obama looking to pass the guard. Flintstone slips out almost immediately though and dives into Obama's guard. Flintstone lands a couple of decent looking shots.

No, Flintstone has managed to get both his arms back between Obama's legs - danger averted. Flintstone throwing strikes from guard but Obama blocks nicely. Obama escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Flintstone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Flintstone stops Obama from standing up. Obama looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Obama pulls Flintstone in to control the position. Flintstone lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Obama has his foot on Flintstone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Flintstone works his way back into a safe position though. Obama working for a triangle but Flintstone defends it easily.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Flintstone landing with the ground and pound. Obama tries to land a sweep but no joy. Flintstone has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Flintstone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Obama is keeping the position for now. Flintstone is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Flintstone lands a couple of decent looking shots. Obama has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Flintstone is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Obama. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Obama is working to avoid the ground and pound but Flintstone connects with a decent elbow. Flintstone lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Obama down.

That was a close round but I would say that Fred Flintstone will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Obama landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Flintstone is looking to control Obama's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Flintstone avoid being mounted? Flintstone wants to improve his position but Obama is controlling well.

Flintstone is refusing to be controlled, as Obama sits in half guard. Obama is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Obama is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Flintstone is just riding it out for now. Obama eventually gives up the hold.

Flintstone blocking the ground and pound attempt from Obama. Obama throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Flintstone to regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
TheRock Obama showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That's going to take a lot out of TheRock Obama. A nice right hand lands inside from Flintstone. Flintstone has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Obama avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Flintstone misses with a shot to the kidneys.

He's tossed Obama clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! This has been an exciting period of action! Flintstone connects with a big shot to the side of Obama's head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bridges shoots in and drives through. Monroe sprawls well. Monroe scoring well with a low kick there.
Bridges fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bridges doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Monroe fails with an attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bridges is defended easily by Monroe. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clifford Bridges. That's going to take a lot out of him. Monroe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bridges doesn't seem bothered though. Monroe circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Monroe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bridges has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Monroe has managed to get both his arms back between Bridges's legs - danger averted. Bridges is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bridges manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Nice footwork from Jimmy.

Cong wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jimmy has him pressed against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
