1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Harden! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valor shoots in looking for a takedown. Harden tries to sprawl out of it but Valor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harden manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Valor fails to land the takedown. Harden tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Harden throws a sloppy head kick and Valor moves out of range easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harden throws a head kick but Valor moves out of range.

Valor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Harden throws a lazy head kick and Valor counters with a takedown into side control. Harden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Valor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This has been an exciting period of action! Valor stands up and beckons Harden to his feet. Harden darts in trying to clinch and Valor counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Harden throws a lazy right hand but Valor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Harden throws a low kick but Valor moves out of range easily. Valor shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Harden sprawls well. Harden wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Valor gets slowly back to his feet. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Argiropoulos looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Argiropoulos pushes Takedown up against the cage in a clinch. Takedown drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Miranda tries for a takedown but McCarthy circles away easily and McCarthy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Johnny Ray Miranda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miranda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McCarthy wants to clinch.
