The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Madafaka takes a swing at Guy's ribcage but misses. Guy lands a head kick that stumbles Madafaka and the fighters go to the mat.
It looks like Rasta Madafaka has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Guy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Madafaka looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Madafaka looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Madafaka! Madafaka tries to stand but Guy is controlling his head. Madafaka decides to stand back up. Madafaka steps back and let's Guy get back to his feet. Madafaka connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Guy takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Guy looking to pass the guard. Madafaka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schwein tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marko paws at him with a jab and circles away. Marko shoots in and drives through. Schwein sprawls well. Schwein thows a body shot but no joy. Marko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Schwein's waist but Schwein gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marko off to one side. Schwein forces Marko back against the cage and clinches. Schwein throws a punch but it's blocked by Marko. Schwein lands on the inside with an uppercut. Schwein can't find room to land a body shot as Marko controls the action.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Downs shoots and misses and Colmen counters with a takedown into side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Downs is looking to reverse the position. Colmen scores with a couple of short elbows. Downs is trying to get back to half guard. Colmen throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Colmen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Colmen lands an elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Downs is trying to control Colmen's posture but Colmen avoids it. Downs manages to get back to half guard. Colmen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gimmick jabbing away but nothing is landing. Cameron scores with a jab to the body. Justin Gimmick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cameron lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Cameron fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gimmick has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Cameron misses with a shot to the body and Gimmick counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cameron lands a leg kick that knocks Gimmick off balance momentarily. Cameron throws a leg kick but Gimmick sees it coming and checks it nicely. Gimmick uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cameron.

Palhares is trying to control Kint's posture but Kint avoids it.

Kint throws a body punch but Palhares moves out of range. Kint looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Palhares is fending him off so far but Kint persists. Nope, Palhares circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Kint. That's going to take a lot out of him. Palhares will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zaferani throws a head kick that misses. A slow jab from Murphy misses its intended target. Zaferani chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Murphy can pounce on him.
Zaferani lands a nice leg kick that just misses Murphy's sensitive parts. Murphy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zaferani connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Murphy scrambles back to his feet. A nice combination there by Murphy.

Sackett pushes Soprano against the cage but Soprano circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sackett shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Sackett misses with a body kick. Soprano thows a body shot but no joy. Soprano lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sackett backs up against the cage.
