2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shane Rik! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rik shoots in and drives through. Man sprawls well. Man fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rik manages to avoid it. Rik blocks a leg kick. Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rik moves away. A decent looking cross lands there for Man. Nice sprawl there from Man as Rik shoots in. Rik wants to clinch up but Man keeps it at a distance. Man keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Man misses with a wild body shot. Horrible takedown by Rik or perhaps it was just good defense by Man which made him look bad. Toast Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Rik. Man swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Toast Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Man throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rik. Rik shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Man is on queer street and Rik is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Petrosyan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Petrosyan throws a hook to the side of Gattusi's head but Gattusi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The fight moves into the clinch position. Petrosyan is defending well against a takedown attempt. Gattusi breaks the clinch.
Gattusi gets a double leg takedown into Petrosyan's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Gattusi prevents Petrosyan from getting back to his feet. Petrosyan manages to escape and get back to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tombo wants to clinch up but Miller keeps it at a distance. Miller feints and as Tombo raises his hands in defense, Miller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Miller wants to control from the top but Tombo keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller lands a couple of digs. Tombo looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Tombo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Miller stops Tombo from standing up. Miller stands and steps away. Tombo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Miller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tombo is refusing to be controlled, as Miller sits in half guard.

Tombo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ooooh that was huge! Tombo knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Brian Tombo! After winning the bout, Brian Tombo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hariyuoki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Takaraivo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Hariyuoki feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Takaraivos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Takaraivo moves out of range of the strikes. A cross from Hariyuoki lands. Hariyuoki throws a right and a left that both miss. Hariyuoki avoids the head kick by Takaraivo.

Hakuma Hariyuoki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Takaraivo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hariyuoki's hands. Hariyuoki misses with a wild combination.

Takaraivo throws a sloppy head kick and Hariyuoki moves out of range easily. Takaraivo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hariyuoki throws out the jab. Takaraivo fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hariyuoki with a jab. Hariyuoki is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. No joy there for Hariyuoki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Takaraivo moves away from the strike by Hariyuoki. Hariyuoki works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Hariyuoki swings for the body but Takaraivo moves out of range.

Takaraivo is still on wobbly legs! Can Hariyuoki finish him? Takaraivo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Takaraivo blocks a jab. Hariyuoki lands a big right hook! Takaraivo looks hurt but is still standing! Hariyuoki lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Takaraivo falls down and Hariyuoki dives in with a huge hammer fist! Takaraivo's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Hariyuoki runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kummola closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kummola lands in his opponent's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Todorov can't keep his opponent in guard - Kummola advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Todorov is trying to maintain the position but Kummola is very close to passing his half guard. Todorov controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Todorov pushes Kummola off looking to stand but Kummola dives back in and keeps control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kummola is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Kummola with the ground and pound but Todorov uses the opportunity to regain guard. Kummola won't allow Todorov to sweep him here. Todorov kicks Kummola off and gets to his feet. Kummola getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Kummola slaps away a takedown attempt from Todorov, before circling back to the center of the mat. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Todorov checks a leg kick. Todorov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kummola has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Todorov has managed to get both his arms back between Kummola's legs - danger averted. Kummola has his foot on Todorov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Todorov works his way back into a safe position though. Todorov postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kummola has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Todorov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kummola being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Todorov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kummola works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kummola is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Todorov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Todorov throwing strikes but missing. Kummola is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kummola keeping moving, preventing Todorov from controlling successfully. That was a close round but I would say that Kale Kummola will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

That's going to take a lot out of Georgi Todorov. Todorov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kummola sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A head kick misses from Kummola. Todorov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kummola sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Todorov somewhat. Todorov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kummola sprawls well initially but Todorov persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kummola wants to get back to full guard. Kummola is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Todorov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Todorov's back! Kummola is not going to allow Todorov to sit and survive in this position.
