Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
34 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Ace Darko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 2, fighting out of New York, Stanley Burrell ! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darko lands a jab to the head.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Burrell , right into the meat.

Burrell misses with a body shot.
Darko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Burrell has time to react. A telegraphed right hand from Darko misses the target. Darko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Burrell is fending him off so far but Darko persists. Nope, Burrell circles away and we're back to standing. Darko's jab looks to have found its range, popping Burrell under the eye. Burrell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Darko. Darko manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Burrell on his heels. He'll look to pass Burrell 's guard now, I'm sure. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Darko throwing strikes but missing. Darko throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burrell working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Darko. Darko looking to sit in guard and control but Burrell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Burrell won't allow Darko to get back to his feet. Burrell showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Darko has control of Burrell 's left arm, preventing Burrell from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Darko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Burrell ! Darko postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Burrell looks a forlorn figure.
Darko lands a nice shot to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Burrell is in a horrible position here. Darko smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burrell is looking to improve his position but Darko isn't that keen on the idea. Darko sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Burrell avoids a series of strikes thrown by Darko.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Darko working for a guillotine from mount but Burrell is in no mood to give up. Darko thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Darko dominating with strikes here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Burrell wants to hold on but Darko pushes him away. Darko looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Burrell throws a leg kick but Darko sees it coming and moves out of range. Burrell slips a straight right by Darko. Burrell takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Darko throws a poor cross that misses

Darko scores with a jab to the jaw. Darko misses the shot to the body. Darko lands a jab to the nose. Darko throws a leg kick but Burrell sees it coming and checks it nicely. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Burrell .

Burrell cracks a nice hook into Darko's ribs. Darko tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Burrell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Darko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Burrell blocks a head kick by Darko.
Burrell keeps the fight on the outside. A big left from Darko misses. Darko misses with a wild body shot.

Darko with a body punch. A glancing blow. Darko works Burrell 's body with a nice hook. Burrell is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Darko rather than just go for the knockout. Darko throws a head kick but Burrell moves out of range.
Burrell drives through and clinches with Darko against the cage.

Burrell throws a sloppy head kick and Darko moves out of range easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stanley Burrell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Burrell counters with a slapping leg kick. Darko looks to throw the jab but Burrell is out of range. Darko on the wrong end of a nice jab. Darko throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Burrell with a body punch. A glancing blow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Darko throws a half hearted mid kick. Darko misses the jab. Darko takes a swing at Burrell 's ribcage but misses. Burrell lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Darko throws a lazy uppercut
and Burrell counters with a nice low kick that buckles Darko's knee momentarily. Burrell lands a jab to the nose. Darko throws a series of punches but Burrell moves out of range. Burrell clinches. Burrell misses with a hook from the clinch. Burrell lands with a left to the head. Darko gets control of Burrell 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Darko will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Burrell postures up in Darko's guard and throws a big left but Darko blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Darko keeping full guard, as Burrell tries to pass. Darko tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Darko being controlled here, momentarily. Burrell trying to control but Darko is working from the bottom. Burrell stays in close to Darko's body and controls the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Stanley Burrell hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Darko misses with a leg kick and Burrell counters with a body kick that stops Darko in his tracks momentarily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Burrell defending well as Darko loads up on a big left hand. Darko throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Burrell counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Darko thinking. Burrell turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Darko ducks right into an uppercut from Burrell . Darko throws a leg kick but Burrell sees it coming and checks it nicely. Decent striking displayed by Burrell there. Darko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burrell moves away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A nice leg kick lands there from Burrell . Burrell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Burrell slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Darko looks to score with a jab to the body but Burrell is just out of range. Burrell fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Burrell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Burrell connects with a looping right hand.
Darko is rocked! Burrell moves in close and cracks Darko with a massive right hand! Darko, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Burrell !

and Guy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Guy gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Yip Man looking for a guillotine here but Guy defends easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Guy wants to pass the guard but Yip Man is keeping the position. Yip Man looking for a triangle here. Guy is fighting it but it looks tight! Yip Man pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Guy is tapping out - this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hainer is looking to slow Colmen down with leg kicks. Hainer feints and then cracks Colmen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Colmen down. Colmen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hainer's waist but Hainer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Colmen off to one side. Colmen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hainer pushes Colmen away with a front kick. Hainer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Colmen circles away quickly and effectively. Hainer misses with a body shot
and Colmen counters with a head kick. Hainer scores with a punch to the head. Hainer scores with a hook to the body. Colmen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Colmen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hainer. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Colmen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Colmen misses with the head strike.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hainer lands with a shot to the body. Mian throws a combination that misses and Caparas counters with a thumping low kick. Caparas tests Mian's chin there with a solid looking shot. Caparas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mian at a distance.
Mian is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Caparas throws a monster overhand right that drops Mian! Caparas follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Reinhardt can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gatti III is looking to escape.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palhares connects with a leg kick. Kharghai looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Palhares cracks the inside of Kharghai's front leg. Pluto Palhares seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Palhares thuds a left hand into Kharghai's body. Palhares clobbers Kharghai with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Palhares lands with a kick to the temple. Kharghai shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Palhares throws a nice outside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kharghai swings for the body but Palhares moves out of range.
Palhares tries to sprawl but Kharghai drives through with a takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Palhares manages to get to full guard.
Palhares controlling the position. Kharghai has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Palhares to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kharghai is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Palhares pulls down on the head and he's put Kharghai to sleep! This one is all over!
