Rogan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Turnbull moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Turnbull with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rogan thuds his right hand into Turnbull's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Turnbull feints and then cracks Rogan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rogan down. Turnbull fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rogan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Rogan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rogan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice body kick there by Turnbull. Rogan looks winded! Turnbull keeps Rogan at a distance using the push kick. Good leg kick by Turnbull there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Turnbull uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rogan has time to react. Joe Rogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turnbull with a nice cross. Turnbull lands a leg kick that knocks Rogan off balance momentarily. Turnbull cracks Rogan on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Rogan falls backwards against the cage. Turnbull follows up with more strikes that drop Rogan to his knees. Turnbull keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Rogan! This one is all over!

Sixteen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sixteen is on top in guard.

Lima doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sixteen is tightening it up a little... Lima has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lima reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lima taps out! Nice BJJ there by Sixteen!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mary Jane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arjel Dacir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jane kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rick James - Mary Jane. Arjel Dacir told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arjel Dacir! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jane misses with a body shot.
A combination from Jane does no damage. Dacir throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jane swings and misses with a shot to the body and Dacir counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dacir tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dacir pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A solid leg kick lands there for Dacir.

Jane blocks a leg kick. Dacir throws a low kick but Jane avoids it. Jane misses with a looping right. Dacir feints and then cracks Jane's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jane down. Jane looks to land a left hand but Dacir moved out of range nicely. Jane throws a hook to the side of Dacir's head but Dacir sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dacir waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jane. Jane takes a swing at Dacir's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jane darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Dacir explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jane looks to land a left hand but Dacir moved out of range nicely. Jane throws a series of punches but Dacir avoids them all with ease. Jane moves out of range of the body kick from Dacir.
Jane throws a looping overhand right but Dacir ducks down to avoid it. Jane misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dacir.
Dacir pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A slapping body kick lands there for Dacir. Dacir uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jane. Jane takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's three minutes gone in the round. That kick from Dacir tenderised Jane's leg. Jane is trying to keep his angry face on. Dacir throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jane sees it coming and avoids it easily. Dacir fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jane looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Dacir throws a body punch but Jane moves out of range. A head kick misses from Dacir. Dacir misses with a series of wild punches.
Jane takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jane throws a shot from downtown. Dacir moves away and avoids it. Jane scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Jane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dacir. Dacir fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jane manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jane misses with the combination.
Jane waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dacir. Jane throws out a loose jab but Dacir uses good head movement to avoid it. Dacir takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dacir slips a straight right by Jane. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dacir - that will leave a mark!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dacir gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Dacir fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jane. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arjel Dacir dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jane's corner calls for a 1-2. Jane obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Dacir misses the target. Dacir avoids the body shot from Jane.
Jane works the jab nicely. Dacir uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jane. Jane connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Dacir tries to land a front kick but Jane steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Dacir looks to land a combination but Jane avoids it well. A head kick misses from Dacir. A jab lands there for Jane. Dacir throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dacir throws a push kick but Jane slaps the foot to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jane lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dacir. Dacir swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jane. Jane gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dacir uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jane. Jab, jab by Jane - just one landing. Arjel Dacir seems to be getting the better of the standup. Dacir pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Dacir darts in and clinches Jane up against the cage. Dacir blocks a body shot from Jane. Dacir throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jane blocks it with crossed arms. Jane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dacir misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dacir tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dacir just misses with a punch to the body.
Jane swings for the body but Dacir moves out of range.
Dacir steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jane. Jane walks forward, straight into a front kick from Dacir. Jane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dacir throws a push kick but Jane slaps the foot to one side. Dacir throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jane throws a lazy uppercut
and Dacir counters with a good, hard body kick but Jane shrugs it off. Jane sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Jane moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dacir throws a jab but it's blocked by Jane. Jane walks forward, straight into a front kick from Dacir. Nice body kick there by Dacir. Dacir dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jane. That did some damage! Jane throws a poor cross that misses
and Dacir makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jane really felt that one! Dacir connects with an inside leg kick. Dacir tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dacir dips to his left and cracks Jane with an uppercut! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dacir scores with a head kick.

Dacir fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jane is out of range. Dacir lands with a good body shot. Dacir looks for the body kick but Jane saw that one coming. Jane takes one to the side of the head.
Jane is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Jane misses with a right hand and Dacir counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dacir scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jane scores with a body shot.

Dacir feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Janes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Dacir throws a head kick but Jane moves out of range.

Dacir misses with a head kick.
Dacir throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jane rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Dacir to counter with a crisp jab.

and Dacir counters with a leg kick. Dacir tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jane swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dacir throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dacir throws a quick inside leg kick. Dacir throws a leg kick but Jane sees it coming and moves out of range. Dacir pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jane tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dacir scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jane slips a straight right by Dacir. Dacir scores with a leg kick.
Mary Jane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dacir dodges the punch combination from Jane.
And that's the end of the fight! Arjel Dacir comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dacir has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
