The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Neil shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jouppi but Jouppi pushes him off and we're back to square one. O Neil drives through with a takedown into guard. Jouppi wants to stand up but O Neil is controlling him. O Neil wants to pass the guard but Jouppi is keeping the position. O Neil throwing strikes from guard but Jouppi blocks nicely. Jouppi keeping full guard, as O Neil tries to pass. Jouppi keeping moving, preventing O Neil from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mickey O Neil. O Neil tries to clinch up but Jouppi circles away and keeps his distance. Jouppi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from O Neil. O Neil dives in and grabs Jouppi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jouppi pushes down on O Neil's head and hops out. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. O Neil shoots in for a double leg but Jouppi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mickey O Neil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. O Neil steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jouppi. That one must have hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Seppo Jouppi is winning the standup battle so far. A telegraphed takedown attempt from O Neil is defended easily by Jouppi. Seppo Jouppi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jouppi keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jouppi throws a quick inside leg kick. O Neil closes the distance and clinches up with Jouppi, looking for a takedown. O Neil pushes Jouppi against the cage but Jouppi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jouppi stuffs the takedown. O Neil is breathing heavily. O Neil changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jouppi tries to avoid it but O Neil manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jouppi to the ground. Jouppi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Oooooh!!! Jouppi has knocked O Neil down with a huge combo! Jouppi steps away and waves a wobbly O Neil back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Mickey O Neil has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jouppi lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. O Neil is still on wobbly legs! Can Jouppi finish him? Jouppi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and O Neil has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. O Neil has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jouppi. A cross from Jouppi lands.

Jouppi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends O Neil sprawling to the canvas! O Neil rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jouppi finish him?!
O Neil takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. O Neil takes a body punch but keeps moving. Jouppi cracks O Neil with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jouppi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning O Neil to stand back up! O Neil dodges the punch combination from Jouppi.
O Neil shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jouppi defends it nicely. Jouppi fakes the body blow, causing O Neil to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! O Neil goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Seppo Jouppi! Seppo Jouppi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

A big right from Freely misses. Freely checks a leg kick. Freely shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Campbell sprawls well. Campbell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Freely gets slowly back to his feet. Freely shoots in for a double leg but Campbell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wayne Campbell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Freely shoots in but Campbell avoids the takedown attempt easily. Freely fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Campbell avoids it really well and circles away. Campbell swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Freely moves away from the strike by Campbell. Campbell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Freely stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Campbell lands with a cross. Freely moves away from the strike by Campbell. Freely looks for a takedown but Campbell sprawls well. A jab from Campbell misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Campbell cracks Freely with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Campbell has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Freely takes a jab right on the kisser.
Oh Freely is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Freely checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Horrible takedown by Freely or perhaps it was just good defense by Campbell which made him look bad. Freely seems to have got his legs back now. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Freely. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Campbell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Freely. Campbell connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Freely gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Campbell gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Nguyen falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Ghost smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Grettis Ghost! Grettis Ghost really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that CEC Nutrition Q160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Evans manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Evans lands a jab. Suokas tries to clinch up and Evans counters with a lovely straight right hand! Suokas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Suokas slips a straight right by Evans. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Evans lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Suokas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Suokas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Evans tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Suokas is able to avoid easily. Evans is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Suokas on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Evans misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Perez is looking to reverse the position. Sik works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Perez manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sik's best efforts. Perez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sik's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sik's back!

Perez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sik as he avoids it easily. Dat Sik has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sik displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Perez throws out the jab. Perez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sik on the side of the head. Sik shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Perez as he jumps to the side. Perez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Siks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Perez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Sik gets off balance looking for a body kick and Perez counters with a lovely straight right hand! Perez fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sik checks it well. Sik moves out of range of the body kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sik chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Perez can pounce on him.

Sik is fighting to maintain full guard but Perez has managed to sneak the leg through. Ground and pound from Perez. Perez is looking to take a break and control but Sik is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Perez is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Perez in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bull throws an overhand right that lands on Cruz's shoulder, as Cruz tries to avoid the shot. Bull throws out a loose jab but Cruz uses good head movement to avoid it. Cruz's corner calls for a 1-2. Cruz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Bull scores with a shot to the body.
Cruz throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bull. Cruz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Cruz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Cruz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's going to slow Bull down. Cruz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The fighters circle momentarily. Bull darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Cruz lands with a nice body punch. Bull thows a body shot but no joy. Bull closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bull tries to advance to mount but can't. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cruz manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Cruz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Cruz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That was a close round but I would say that Roy Bull will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Cruz moves in looking to clinch but Bull pushes him off. Cruz moves out of range of the body kick. Bull throws a lazy right hand but Cruz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A big right from Bull misses. The fighters circle momentarily. Bull darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Cruz fails with a takedown attempt. Cruz lands a slapping body shot.

The fight stays on the outside here - Bull looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bull fails with the takedown and Cruz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Cruz scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Cruz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Cruz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Cruz throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bull's head. Cruz misses with a wild body shot. Cruz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bull's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cruz connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bull scrambles back to his feet. A combination from Bull does no damage. Bull throws a lazy uppercut
so Cruz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bull looking for a sweep. Not yet Bull, not yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bull can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cruz controls the pace. Bull wants to hit a switch here but Cruz passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bull there!
