The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trout throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Overeem was covering up waiting for the punch and Trout finishes the takedown easily into guard. Overeem wants to sweep but no luck. Trout is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Trout gets to his feet. Overeem looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Trout bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Overeem is looking for a sweep. Trout stands up and we're back to a striking position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Overeem changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Trout looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Trout on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Trout tries to get out of the position. Overeem goes for an armbar! This could be all over! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moneymaker manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Silva on his heels. He'll look to pass Silva's guard now, I'm sure. Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Silva trying to strike off his back.

Fisher does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Didriksson closes the distance and clinches. Didriksson tries to land knees in the clinch but Fisher avoids the damage to the body. Fisher breaks the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fisher avoids a series of strikes thrown by Didriksson.
You get the feeling that Fisher really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Lockwood waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gene. Gene tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lockwood was well out of range. Poor timing from Gene. Lockwood feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Genes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Lockwood is looking to land body kicks. Lockwood scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gene in his tracks. Lockwood jabs Gene right on the nose. Gene blinks but takes it well. Lockwood jabbing away but nothing is landing. Gene throws a low kick, looking for Lockwood's leg but Lockwood calmly moves out of range. An inside leg kick lands from Gene. Gene lands a glancing blow to the side of Lockwood's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Gene fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lockwood manages to avoid it. Gene takes one to the side of the head.

Gene ducks right into an uppercut from Lockwood. Gene gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! and Parts counters with a crisp one two that drops Morgan! Parts thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Morgan to his feet! Morgan is in big trouble!
Morgan is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Parts looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Parts backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Morgan's temple! It sends Morgan violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Parts celebrates and the doctors try to help Morgan!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Haze creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Chekhov sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
