The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Day looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? James is fending him off so far but Day persists. Nope, James circles away and we're back to standing.
Day changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. James tries to avoid it but Day manages to keep hold of a leg and drag James to the ground. James escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for D Day. That's going to take a lot out of him.

James gets a trip takedown into half guard.
James is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Aro steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Askiban's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. Monfriesz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Monfriesz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tammipuomi finds it's way round the side to connect with Monfriesz's head.

Tammipuomi measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Monfriesz! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
