The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Logan throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lamotta makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Logan really felt that one! Logan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lamotta moves away. Lamotta avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Logan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lamotta. Logan on the wrong end of a nice hook. Lamotta misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Logan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lamotta is trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lamotta wants to get back to his feet. Lamotta tries to get back to half guard but can't.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Logan tries for a kimura but Lamotta is defending well. Logan remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lamotta is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Logan has just dragged him back down to the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tony Lamotta will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on James Logan's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mercurius gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Mercurius is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mercurius breaks Lucas's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Blaze manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. A good leg kick by Fleury. Blaze throws an ugly left hook that misses

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fleury fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Blaze has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Blaze tries to clinch up but Fleury circles away and keeps his distance. Fleury lands a two punch combo.
Nice jab there from Blaze. Fleury is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Blaze hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Scott dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Khanomtom. That did some damage! A looping hook to the body misses from Scott. Khanomtom does a little dance to reset his feet. Scott shoots in and bounces Khanomtom off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Scott controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Khanomtom walks into a straight right hand from Scott. Scott lunges at Khanomtom with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Khanomtom's hand. Scott misses with an attempted mid kick.
Khanomtom takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nice shot lands for Scott. Scott tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Khanomtom chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Scott can pounce on him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Khanomtom tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Scott paws at him with a jab and circles away. Scott buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Scott thows a left - swing and a miss! Khanomtom throws a leg kick that is checked and Scott counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Khanomtom's guard now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Khanomtom fights it but they end up in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Khanomtom is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Equis Guy moves into the clinch. Harter blocks a body shot from Dos Equis Guy. Harter managing to block the knees to the body from Dos Equis Guy.
Dos Equis Guy working some nice short punches in the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Harter fails to land. Dos Equis Guy working aggressively here.
Harter digs a right hand underneath Dos Equis Guy's ribcage. Dos Equis Guy let out a lung full of air as it connected. Dos Equis Guy tries to throw a body punch but Harter avoids it by throwing Dos Equis Guy back against the cage. Harter blocks a body shot from Dos Equis Guy. Harter throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Dos Equis Guys head. Dos Equis Guy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Harter backwards. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harter tries to circle away but Dos Equis Guy has him pinned against the cage. Harter blocking some punches.

Dos Equis Guy lands with a short shot to the head. Dos Equis Guy misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Harter works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Harter with a flurry of punches that miss. Harter trying to control the position from guard on top but Dos Equis Guy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Harter trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Harter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dos Equis Guy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Harter missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Harter working some strikes from top position. Harter landing some decent shots from guard. Harter scoring with punches to the head and body. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dos Equis Guy can't keep his opponent in guard - Harter advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dos Equis Guy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dos Equis Guy is not content to let Harter control the position. Dos Equis Guy is trying to get back to full guard. Harter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dos Equis Guy is just riding it out for now. Harter eventually gives up the hold. Harter is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harter is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Dos Equis Guy is trying to control but can't.

Harter takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Dos Equis Guy tries to get to full guard but Harter has control of the leg. Harter thows a huge punch but Dos Equis Guy dodges it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harter is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dos Equis Guy! Dos Equis Guy is desperately trying to improve his position but Harter has a good base and remains in mount. Harter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Harter landing punches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Harter postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dos Equis Guy looks a forlorn figure.
