22 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Rocky Blyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matt Morgernstern! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blyer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Morgernstern manages to avoid it. Morgernstern ducks under a wild hook from Blyer. A looping hook to the body misses from Blyer. Morgernstern does a little dance to reset his feet. Morgernstern has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
 It looks like Matt Morgernstern has been cut. Blyer blocks a leg kick. Blyer connects with a body shot. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Morgernstern - that will leave a mark!
Blyer falls off balance throwing a combination
and Morgernstern holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blyer can't break the clinch.
Morgernstern tries for a takedown. No joy.
Morgernstern keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Blyer's efforts to push away.
Blyer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Blyer darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Blyer jabbing away but nothing is landing. Rocky Blyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morgernstern is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Blyer. Blyer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Morgernstern momentarily.
 Morgernstern is rocked! A big right from Blyer misses. Blyer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morgernstern circles away quickly and effectively. Morgernstern slips a jab and a cross from Blyer.
Blyer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blyer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Morgernstern finds it's way round the side to connect with Blyer's head. Morgernstern misses with a kick to the body.

and Morgernstern counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Morgernstern. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Morgernstern has picked Blyer up - he's going for a ride! Morgernstern dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Blyer is trying to stand up here but Morgernstern is controlling him well. Blyer trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgernstern seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Blyer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Blyer wants to get back to his feet.
Blyer kicks Morgernstern off and gets back to his feet. Blyer misses with a lunging right hand

Blyer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Morgernstern to score an easy takedown into full guard. Morgernstern trying to control but Blyer is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Blyer wants to stand up but Morgernstern is controlling him. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Morgernstern trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Morgernstern prevents Blyer from getting back to his feet. Morgernstern advances position into side control! Blyer is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Morgernstern asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Morgernstern is working to tighten is grip on Blyer's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Blyer has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Morgernstern is really squeezing tight and eventually Blyer passes out! Morgernstern breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago jabs at Castro's body. Castro misses with a left hand and Drago counters with a nice uppercut. Castro fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Drago is out of range. Castro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Castro throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Drago counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Castro! Drago trying to control the action but Castro is working from the bottom. Drago with the ground and pound but Castro regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Castro is controlling Drago's trapped leg to prevent Drago from advancing to side control.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Castro wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Drago is trying to work for a kimura but Castro is defending well.
Drago not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Castro wants to improve his position but Drago is controlling well.
Still in half guard, Drago seems content to control.

Boss Castro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Drago. Castro blocks a head kick by Drago.

A close round but Ivan Drago will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Drago has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Castro. Castro throws a wild body kick that Drago sees coming a mile off. Castro sizes up Drago with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Drago lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Castro misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Drago.

A big left from Castro misses. Castro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Castro wants it to stay on the feet. Castro misses with a kick to the body and Drago counters with a three punch combo that has Castro backing up. Castro nods at Drago to acknowledge the strikes. Castro misses with a double jab.
Castro swats away the attempt to clinch by Drago. This has been an exciting period of action! Drago tries to close the distance and clinch up but Castro swats him away and circles back towards the center.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Castro thuds his right hand into Drago's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Some bone on bone action there as Drago checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A bone on bone clash there as Drago blocks the leg kick.
Castro throws a right and a left that both miss. Ivan Drago is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Drago misses with a head kick.
Castro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Castro is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Castro gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Drago.
Drago manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Castro wanted to stand there but Drago had control of the position. Drago controls Castro momentarily but Castro frees himself. Castro wants to get up but he can't break Drago's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Drago has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Drago wriggles free and stands up. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Drago moves out of range as Castro throws a body kick.

Castro is lucky that one didn't land flush. Castro throws a body punch but Drago moves out of range. A jab from Castro misses. Castro tries a low kick but Drago avoids it.

Castro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Drago moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Castro throws a lazy head kick and Drago makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Castro really felt that one! Castro throws a leg kick that is checked and Drago counters with a flying knee. Nice. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Drago fails with a takedown attempt. Drago wants to clinch up but Castro keeps it at a distance. Drago tries to score a power double leg takedown but Castro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Drago somewhat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Castro lands with a nice body punch.

Hainer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A head kick from Bryant lands but Hainer takes it in his stride. Hainer looks for the body kick but Bryant saw that one coming. Zach Hainer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hainer lands with a right hand. Hainer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Hainer tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bryant is able to avoid easily. Bryant throws a nice inside leg kick. Bryant is looking to chop away at Hainer's legs. Bryant dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bryant throws the kick towards the body but Hainer avoids it. Bryant throws a solid leg kick but Hainer takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bryant. Bryant lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hainer's sensitive parts. Hainer lands with an overhand left.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bryant throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hainer. Hainer punishes Bryant's body with a nice straight punch. Hainer throws a leg kick which misses Bryant's front leg but catches the back leg as Bryant tries to avoid it. Bryant feints and then cracks Hainer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hainer down. A head kick misses from Hainer. Bryant misses with a low kick. Hainer misses with a left hand and Bryant counters with a low kick, right behind Hainer 's knee. Martin Bryant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hainer checks a low kick from Bryant. Bryant loads up on a big right hand but Hainer slips the punch. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bryant.

Hainer lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bryant takes a step back to recover. Bryant goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A close round but Zach Hainer will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hainer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ouriel Semiazas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Semiazas lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zeus throws a lazy right hand but Kruty sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Zeus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kruty sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Zeus connects with a body shot that sends Kruty's belly button to the back. Zeus throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kruty counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zeus, as that shot connected.
Kruty displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zeus throws out the jab.
Zeus closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kruty to the mat! Kruty manages to get full guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Zeus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kruty swivels though and keeps the full guard. Zeus trying to control the position from guard on top but Kruty is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zeus slips nicely into half guard. Zeus seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kruty does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kruty won't allow Zeus to pass to mount.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Zeus is trying to control the action in half guard but Kruty is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kruty wants to improve his position but Zeus is controlling well.
Zeus looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Kruty trying to control from the bottom.
Zeus uses his free foot to push down on Kruty's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kruty. Kruty tries to get back to half guard but can't. Zeus throwing strikes but Kruty bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. Zeus tries to land a sweep but no joy.

 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Zeus misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kruty.

 Raptor is rocked! Raptor's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Raptor on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Raptor is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Hulahula connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Volkov momentarily.

Omega lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Omega throws a leg kick and Palhares counters with a nice body shot. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Palhares looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Omega throws a low kick but Palhares moves out of range easily. Palhares slips a jab and a cross from Omega.

and Palhares counters with a nice double leg into guard. Palhares being controlled here momentarily. Palhares engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Palhares trying to control but Omega is working from the bottom.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Thor Omega. The fighters circling - Omega throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Palhares ducks right into an uppercut from Omega. Omega misses with a straight right. Omega throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Omega scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Palhares misses with a jab to the body
and Omega counters with a two punch combo. Omega throws a leg kick that is checked and Palhares counters with a lovely straight right hand! Omega feints and then cracks Palhares's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Palhares down. Omega looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Omega blocks a head kick by Palhares.
Palhares blocks a leg kick. Omega throws a solid leg kick but Palhares takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Omega. Omega thows a leg kick but Palhares checks it letting Palhares counter with a right hand. A bone on bone clash there as Palhares blocks the leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Palhares closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Omega keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Omega is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Palhares jumps into side control! Omega tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Palhares wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Palhares moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Omega looks to move to half guard but instead Palhares has passed into mount! Damn! Palhares working away from the top, dropping strikes. Palhares wants to control the pace but Omega is squirming around nicely. Omega is looking to get to half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Palhares tries to control but Omega wriggling away. Omega taking shots to the head. Omega tries to hold on but Palhares postures up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Palhares content just to control the position here. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Pluto Palhares dominated that fourth round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Palhares thuds his shin into the meat of Omega's side. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Palhares checks a leg kick. Omega connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Omega looks for the body kick but Palhares saw that one coming. Palhares looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Omega tries to bum rush Palhares with a series of wild strikes but Palhares uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Palhares with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Omega to score with a decent uppercut. Omega misses with a left hand and Palhares counters with a leg kick. Omega rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Palhares counters with a one-two to the body.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A solid leg kick lands there for Palhares.
A chopping leg kick lands by Palhares. Omega throws a right hand that misses
and Palhares counters with a good low kick that Omega was not able to check. Palhares keeps the fight on the outside. Palhares doesn't succeed with the takedown and Omega connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Omega throws a head kick that misses. Omega throws a lazy uppercut
and Palhares counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Omega's guard now. Palhares not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thor Omega has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Palhares changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Omega looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Omega tries to buck Palhares off but Palhares is having none of it. Palhares is looking to take a break and control but Omega is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Omega is trying to control Palhares's posture but Palhares avoids it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Palhares misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Omega struggling a bit here. Omega being controlled for a moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Palhares misses with the ground and pound.
