The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galve tries to bum rush Holmes with a series of wild strikes but Holmes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Galve throws a nice looking combination but Holmes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Galve rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Holmes counters by moving into the clinch.
Holmes has Galve pressed against the cage.
Holmes scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like John Galve has been cut.
Galve fails to pull guard.
Galve goes for a takedown attempt but Holmes pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Decoteau shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ite manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Decoteau is looking to stand up but Ite won't let him.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Ite is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Ite has his feet on Decoteau's thighs here. He's pushed Decoteau off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Decoteau screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Hatake shoots for a takedown but Holloza saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
