The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Falcon avoids the body shot from Ramsay.

Ramsay fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Falcon manages to avoid it. Ramsay has been the more effective fighter overall so far. He's just covering up as Ramsay starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Couture swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rowedder shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Couture as he avoids it easily. Rowedder moves out of range of the strikes. Couture lands a nice shot to the body.
Rowedder tries to bum rush Couture with a series of wild strikes but Couture uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rowedder takes one to the side of the head.
Couture changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rowedder tries to avoid it but Couture manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rowedder to the ground. Rowedder escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rowedder takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Couture wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! No luck for Couture with that takedown attempt. Couture lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big right from Couture misses. Couture throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rowedder tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Couture is in Rowedder's guard. Rowedder is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Couture is looking to work some ground and pound but Rowedder has wrist control. Rowedder working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Couture. Rowedder has his feet on Couture's thighs here. He's pushed Couture off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Couture screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Anderson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Crazy's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fab Llyr's guard. McDougall thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. McDougall keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. McDougall tries to pass to full mount but Fab Llyr defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDougall seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fab Llyr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Fab Llyr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McDougall's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McDougall's back! A lull in the action here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. McDougall rolls, trying to escape but Fab Llyr keeps control of the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reaper moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Mester is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reaper sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Reaper delivers a nice body kick. Mester looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reaper is fending him off so far but Mester persists. Nope, Reaper circles away and we're back to standing. Mester on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Mester checks a low kick from Reaper. Reaper throws a chopping leg kick but Mester manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Mester blocks a head kick by Reaper.

This could be trouble! No, Reaper has managed to free his arm - good work. Reaper is refusing to be controlled, as Mester sits in half guard. Still in half guard, Mester seems content to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Nikola Mester wasn't doing enough on the ground. Reaper moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Grim Reaper seems to be getting the better of the standup. This has been an exciting period of action! Reaper throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Reaper lands with a hook. Mester tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Reaper misses with a low kick.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nikola Mester will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
