The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lunar lands with a nice body punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lunar. Zaire does a little dance to reset his feet.
Good exchange - Lunar coming out on top.
Lunar looks to score with a jab to the body but Zaire is just out of range.

Zaire tries to keep at a distance but Lunar has taken the fight into the clinch.
Zaire is working for takedown but Lunar is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lunar tries to work over Zaire's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Zaire lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lunar backwards.

Zaire has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lunar clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Nygard screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Grenadier crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Freeman - the referee stops the clock and Grenadier gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Freeman. Grenadier manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
