17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randolph Turpin! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turpin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Troc. Troc lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Turpin thumps Troc with a low kick. A clash of legs there as Troc blocks the low kick. Troc lands with a good body shot. Nice body kick there by Turpin. Troc checks a leg kick. Troc tries to clinch and Turpin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. A bone on bone clash there as Turpin blocks the leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action! Troc throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Troc gets in close and instigates a clinch. Turpin on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Troc pushes Turpin back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Turpin trying to stall but Troc improves his position.

I was talking to Troc's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Troc creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Turpin tries a body shot but Troc blocks it.

Turpin scores with a nice hook to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Turpin lands with a light punch inside. Turpin stalling against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Trang Troc will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Troc lands a nice shot to the body.
Turpin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Troc moves away. Troc throws a hook to the side of Turpin's head but Turpin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Troc tries a head kick but it misses.
Turpin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Troc manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Troc checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Turpin tries to close the distance and clinch but Troc swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Turpin throws a wild body kick that Troc sees coming a mile off. Troc fails to land with a series of punches.
Troc is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Turpin. Turpin thows a leg kick but Troc checks it and Troc counters with a body kick. Trang Troc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turpin throws a hook to the side of Troc's head but Troc sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Turpin avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Troc throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Turpin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Troc throws a low kick, looking for Turpin's leg but Turpin calmly moves out of range. Turpin defending well as Troc loads up on a big left hand. Turpin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Troc throws a body punch but Turpin moves out of range. Troc uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Turpin.

Troc ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Turpin moves away. Turpin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Turpin there as he acknowledges the shot. That's three minutes gone in the round. Troc catches Turpin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Troc closes the distance and pushes Turpin back into the cage. Turpin struggles to land a body shot inside as Troc controls his hands.

Turpin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. A telegraphed right hand from Troc misses the target. Troc throws a jab when Turpin was well out of range. Turpin seems to have recovered his senses.

I think Nelson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kanye West feat Chief Keef, Pusha T, Jadakiss, Big Sean - I Don't Like. Miller has chosen Don't Worry, Be Happy! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Byron Nelson had a look across the cage there at his opponent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller throws a wild body kick that Nelson sees coming a mile off. A slapping leg kick lands for Miller.
Miller ducks under a wild hook from Nelson. Miller throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Miller has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Nelson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miller was well out of range. Poor timing from Nelson. Miller swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nelson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nelson throws a lazy right hand but Miller sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Miller lands a body shot.

Nelson is looking to take a break and control but Miller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Miller gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Nelson seems to be working for a kimura but Miller defends the submission attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nelson trying to control the pace. Miller wants to control but Nelson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Nelson prevents Miller from improving his position. Miller avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Nelson. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller is staying active underneath Nelson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nelson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Miller knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Byron Nelson will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Miller throws a hook but Nelson blocks it. Nelson jabs Miller to the body, keeping him at a distance. Nelson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Miller. Miller lets loose with a powerful body kick. Nelson will feel that in the morning. The fighters circling - Nelson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nelson blocks a leg kick. Miller throws a shot from downtown. Nelson moves away and avoids it. Miller lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Miller keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Nelson counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Miller! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nelson throwing shots but missing, from side control. Miller is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Miller manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Miller missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Miller throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Nelson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Miller trying to control the action but Nelson is working from the bottom. Miller might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nelson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nelson regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller is working Nelson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Nelson has his hands on Miller's head, controlling the position. Miller with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Nelson wants to sweep but no luck. Nelson controls Miller momentarily but Miller frees himself. Miller connects with a couple of short punches. Nelson keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller passes easily into side control. Nice work. Miller tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sandoval's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Tyler tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sandoval was well out of range. Poor timing from Tyler. Tyler fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sandoval on the side of the head. Tyler keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sandoval. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tyler breaks Sandoval's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Garner has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Turjake. Turjake looks to land a left hand but Hill moved out of range nicely. Turjake smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Turjake throws a quick inside leg kick. Hill on the wrong end of a nice jab. A jab lands there for Turjake. Turjake fails to land the takedown. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hill!
Hill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hill fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Turjake has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hill walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Hill looks to score with a jab to the body but Turjake is just out of range. Hill lands a big right hand that sends Turjake crashing to the mat! Hill stays standing though and waves Turjake back to his feet!
Turjake is rocked! Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Donk. Turjake catches Hill right on the button with a cross. Oh Turjake is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Turjake lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Turjake takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Turjake throws a body punch but Hill moves out of range. Hill ducks right into an uppercut from Turjake. Hill scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Hill uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Turjake.
Turjake connects with a body shot that sends Hill's belly button to the back. Hill works Turjake's body with a nice hook. Turjake shoots for a takedown but Hill saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hill, right into the meat.
Turjake is breathing heavily. Turjake paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Turjake pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Turjake ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hill moves away. Turjake seems to have got his legs back now. Trinity Hill is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Turjake changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Hill displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Turjake throws out the jab. Turjake thows a body shot but no joy. That's going to slow Turjake down. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Turjake misses with a hook. Turjake tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Hill connects with a solid leg kick. Hill throws a head kick that misses. Hill is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Turjake rather than just go for the knockout. Turjake avoids the head kick by Hill.

Kenji throws a leg kick which misses Zwingman's front leg but catches the back leg as Zwingman tries to avoid it. Kenji swings for the body but Zwingman moves out of range.
Kenji tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zwingman was well out of range. Poor timing from Kenji. Kenji stuns Zwingman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kenji throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That was a close round but I would say that FOSTER Zwingman will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Zwingman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kenji buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Kenji throws a nice inside leg kick. Zwingman throws a hook but Kenji blocks it. Kurokawa Kenji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zwingman goes for a double leg but Kenji avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kenji continues to drive forward. He catches Kenji napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kenji defending against the ground and pound. Zwingman landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Zwingman throws a strike aimed at the side of Kenji's head but Kenji avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zwingman in side control, throwing shots but Kenji defends. Zwingman sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kenji is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Kenji is holding Zwingman down, trying to stall. Zwingman lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Kenji dodges the ground and pound from Zwingman. Zwingman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kenji throws a nice outside leg kick. Zwingman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kenji manages to avoid it. Kenji's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kenji duly obliges.
It looks like FOSTER Zwingman has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kenji lands a leg kick that knocks Zwingman off balance momentarily. Kurokawa Kenji seems to be getting the better of the standup. Zwingman shoots in looking for a takedown but Kenji manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zwingman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Zwingman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kenji. Kenji throws a shot from downtown. Zwingman moves away and avoids it. Kenji lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spoakin throws a solid leg kick but Shakur takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Spoakin. Spoakin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Shakur. Shakur obviously looking to wear him down.
Spoakin throws out a loose jab but Shakur uses good head movement to avoid it. Spoakin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Eulogy Spoakin has been cut. Eulogy Spoakin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Spoakin misses with a head kick.
Spoakin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Shakur lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Spoakin scoring well with a low kick there.

Spoakin doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Shakur keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Salcedo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
We're going to have a standup here because Red Fox wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Fox's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fox duly obliges. Fox jabs Lamotta to the body, keeping him at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Red Fox will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fox walks into a stiff left hand from Lamotta. Lamotta shoots in for a takedown but Fox shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fox wants to clinch up but Lamotta keeps it at a distance. An inside leg kick from Fox misses. Lamotta walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Lamotta throws a chopping leg kick but Fox manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Lamotta takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Some bone on bone action there as Lamotta checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fox looks to throw the jab but Lamotta is out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fox scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lamotta doesn't seem bothered though. Fox closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lamotta wants to pass the guard but Fox is keeping the position. Lamotta trying to control the position from guard on top but Fox is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lamotta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fox swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fox preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Fox might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lamotta throws a strike aimed at the side of Fox's head but Fox avoids it well. Fox is not content to let Lamotta control the position. Fox gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Lamotta thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Lamotta wants to finish this one by submission but Fox is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lamotta. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lamotta has hold of Fox's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fox manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
