Narushima lands a big head kick that sends Carlton tumbling to the mat! Narushima takes a step backwards and waves Carlton back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Carlton lunges at Narushima with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Narushima's hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Narushima. Carlton does a little dance to reset his feet.
Narushima throws a sloppy head kick
and Carlton counters with an inside leg kick.
Narushima tries to land a leg kick but Carlton saw it coming and moves away.

Carlton feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Narushima sprawling to the canvas! Narushima rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Carlton finish him?!

Narushima is rocked!
Narushima drops his hands momentarily. Carlton doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Narushima staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Narushima doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kyle Carlton! Kyle Carlton retains his heavyweight title!
A very excited looking Kyle Carlton made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
