The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negi catches White with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

White rushes Negi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
White pushes off an throws an elbow but Negi leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
White throws an elbow that misses.
White throws an elbow but it misses.
White keeps control of Negi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Negi blocks an elbow strike from White.
Negi avoids the elbow strike from White, against the cage.
White throws an elbow but it misses.
Negi wants to break the clinch but can't.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that White has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Negi is trying to force a seperation but White has the dominant position.
Negi lands with a short shot to the head.

White turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and White manages to end up in side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

White has hold of Negi's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Negi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - White cranks the arm and Negi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Negi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Danny White!
Danny White was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

and Ali counters with a nice body shot.
Austin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ali will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looks like Jack Austin has been cut.

Ali sends Austin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ali is motioning to the referee to let Austin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Austin is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ali swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Austin is still on wobbly legs! Can Ali finish him?
Ali throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Austin seems to have recovered his senses.
Austin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Austin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ali paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ali cracks Austin with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Austin looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ali finish him?
Austin gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Ali gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Austin is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kalabokas bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Ramirez comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Kalabokas falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Kalabokas was out before he hit the floor!
